Laptop crapped itself.
Well the 66% of the ram crapped itself.
Had to Rip out the 4g stick and put the 2g into slot A.
So it switches on again but is sk slow I just used it to order new ram.
Decided while I was at it (and because it was so chEap) just to buy two 8g chips.
Warp speed Mr Zulu!

I have fallen hard into the ill persons trap of daytime TV. My routine is:

10am - 2 episodes of Gilmore Girls (it always makes me angry)
12pm - America's Next Top Model (Tyra Banks annoys me)
1pm - Biggest Loser Australia (I'm really rooting for one of the contestants for some reason)

Some degree of faffing and picking between a shit movie on SyFy or an hour of How I Met Your Mother (I don't really understand what's going on), The Big Bang Theory (I've seen them all before) and Melissa and Joey (I only watch this to satisfy an unhealthy need to figure out if Sabrina The Teenage Witch has had plastic surgery).

Then from 5pm I hit the mother load of 5pm Buffy The Vampire Slayer, 6pm Deep Space 9 and 7pm TNG (it's an extra treat if its a TNG episode that I haven't seen before or can't remember).

At some point during DS9 Mr PigDog comes home and berates me and if he doesn't allow me to watch TNG then I can catch the repeated episode in my difficult decision slot between Biggest Loser and Buffy.

I think I want to die :(

Just imagining the total number of ads you watch every day gave me nausea. Otherwise, fun times!

I'm still suffering from insomnia (might be all that tv watching) and sometimes I lie awake at night with ad jingles stuck in my head. And I want to kill the Chanel No.5 woman from the ad where she starts out doing the most improbable surfing and they murder a song from Grease.

Really hoping to be well enough to go to work next week but then I'm going to miss the winner of Biggest Loser Australia and I can't record it because that would be a low that I can never undo.

We all have our guilty pleasure. I would never admit to listening to some of the stuff I listen to but I still do it ....
I hope you get better soon, but not before Biggest Loser Australia ends.

You need Netflix.
And probably Hulu, Crave, Shomi, and every other streaming service known to humanity. ASAP.

Possibly the worst revelation yet is that I have many of those things and loads of good stuff recorded for catch up. I am actually choosing this!!

Well, if you have Netflix, JESSICA JONES drops its first season in its entirety tomorrow...so maybe switch up for a day at least? :(

But believe me I know the pain of choosing to watch stuff you know you shouldn't. I do it too sometimes.

Feel bad for the nations whose daytime TV isn't filled with small claims court shows. If you haven't seen Judge Judy yell at a half dozen people about a case she decided during the space of the opening theme before any testimony, or Judge Joe brown haphazardly moralize at hillbillies while he sits drunk behind the bench, you haven't lived.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I note there was no Bargain Hunt, Come Dine With Me, Loose Women or Jezza Kyle in your list. There is hope for you yet.

I'm also disappointed that there was no Tipping Point (my 4 y/o current favourite show) or The Chase in there too

I'm leaving myself somewhere to go for rock bottom. I'm not there yet but don't think I haven't browsed the goods. Come Dine With Me can't be considered as it will make me spew and Jeremy Kyle is only a tiny step above suicide so I can't allow myself to go there.

Ebay people made a mistake
only sent me one of the mew ram chips, not 2.

in fairness to them they responded to my message almost instantly and have shipped the second already, nice to see that kind of customer service.

Jeremy Kyle is great. Nowhere else on TV can I see so many people who sound like they're from where I live. They even added t' to the subtitles!

Watching Jeremy Kyle is like doing my job. Literally some of the people who live in the area I work have actually been on the show. No thanks!

I caught Jeremy Kyle once while waiting for my car to be repaired - they had ITV on in the waiting area. I had a book with me and the volume of the TV was just enough to be distracting so I ended up watching. My reaction was pretty much "People watch this? On purpose?!" Posted Image

Jeremy Kyle was on in America for a season or so. His contempt for his guests was so off-putting. Even Jerry Springer pretends to be a gracious "host" to his "guests". Kyle is much more like Geraldo's you're-here-for-me-to-berate-you ego trippin.

You have to beat in mind that the Kylecatchers bring him people who need a good talking down to. The American catches seemed too erudite for his style.

Caught my ex wife jacking my pain pills after the fact. I noticed I had less since I have 2 versions of the same pill it was noticeable. Pisses me the fuck off. She gave me back most of one pill but she been getting them long before I noticed yesterday.

Watch this dynamic carefully. Could be selling on the side or addicted to them herself.

You may want to lock up your pills.
