Don't be wilfully dense.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Normally I would agree DL, but if you saw the headlines on the newpaper rack in shops here at the minute, people need to be reminded of these things, the media is basically screaming 'EVERY SINGLE REFUGEE FROM SYRIA IS A MUSLIM AND AN ISIS MEMENER THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME WE ARE ALL GOING TO BE MURDERED TO DEATH IN OUR BEDS BY THE INFIDEL JIHAD JIHAD JIHAD!!!!111ONE'

Waiting. Interminable, horrid waiting. Vets have said the lab cultures are probably due tomorrow and I guess that's when we'll find out if we can save Jäger or not.

Spent my Sunday with various emergency and out of hours healthcare providers after vomiting blood this morning! Great day all round. Totally normal after so much morning sickness apparently. I left with the advice of "try to retch gently from now on". Well I'll certainly try! And I'm still not special enough to have the super pregnancy vomiting thingy.

Sarcasm aside, I just want to hug everyone who works for the NHS. Waiting around may be a drag but they provide a top notch service once they see you.

I agree. Governments/media are definitely propagating and using fear to push their agenda, as always. But I don't think we should go on the other extreme and shrug it off. I think most people are reasonable but its just hard for anyone to get unbiased information now. Frankly, I don't believe I am educated enough about this subject to get into anything deeper other than scratching the surface.

I've yet to try a Belgian beer that I enjoyed. That said the ones available here tend towards wheat beers and I'm not hugely fond of those.

That is a shame Vengeance I am sure that it has to do with your love of Belgium Ales and my lack of beer taste. Which is probably due to drinking copious amounts of a piss like substance.

I am ready for your attempts at vengeance, Vengeance.

In the UK (and definitely in Sheffield) it is quite easy to find good Belgian non wit beers. Just try Old House or Dev Cat. They got Duvel, Leffe, Orval, De Koninck, Palm, La Chouffe, Karmeliet, Westmalle, etc. there's more than just Hoegaerden out there. German wheat beers trump Belgian ones anyway.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

My condolences on the loss.

I'll manage. To be honest after we saw him post-anaesthetic we were preparing for this.

The vet called half an hour ago and said it was a heart attack. He'd been on a lot of meds for renal failure and whatnot. I'll ask after the lab results when I speak to them. I don't think there was anything we could have done but I need to know.

At least it was peaceful.
