I cut the shit out of two of my fingers this afternoon. No stitches or anything, but they bled like a bastard and I didn't have any band-aids... I had to tie a sock around my hand. Finally got some bandages, but I probably won't be able to play guitar or workout for awhile.

I guess there's always beer and video games.

Burnout--a psychological condition when as a result of great workoad, people become apathetic about their job and experience chronic tiredness and inability to perform the necessary tasks well
I am feeling that now. bad time, as its term papers season.
I foind it ridiculosly hard to concentrate, feel little to no motivation to do just about anything, etc.
the upcoming weeknd will be the ultumita test of my willpower. I'm writing a "to do" schedule as I'm typing this.
sticking to it will not be easy and I know it.
I'll be living in my house for 3 days, essentially.
but I have to finish one paper, find a topic/do outline for the other, smaller one, and make sure I do all my course readings.

this weekend will be teh suck.

I agree with Dancer, a lot of the times things aren't as bad as they seem, or there is at least a way out and for things to get better

EDIT: and my groove is messed with by the owner of our fricken' house that still hasn't given us written notification of where to pay our rent now and has acted illegally by not installing a safety switch which means i now have to fill out forms and probably go to mediated negotiations and i want to stab things
