There is truly no justice in the world. Brandon Sanderson and Elizabeth Bear debuted in the same year (2005 and yes I am just now figuring it out) and I respect what BS does and also realize EB has had great success (at least critically) but if this was a perfect world EB would be recognized as one of best current fantasists rather than BS.

I agree very, very strongly with this. The Jenny Casey books I read were phenomenal and more Bear books are in my to read pile.

I missed an appointment today through sheer forgetfulness and I really wish I hadn't. It's not a big deal, but dang it.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

In another sign that I am amph's good twin, I got ready to go to work today only to remember that it's a bank holiday and therefore I'm not in til tomorrow. Partly good, except I'd planned things with people on different days with the understanding that I was busy today so I'm a dumbass.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

If we're twins, our progenitors must be... breathtaking.

Work. And people. Idiots. Aaargh. Yes, sure, let's cram as much info as possible on this small peace of paper, and leave the pig poster as empty as possible, because, duh, it's not like there's more space on that or anything.. Also, it's great you want everything in the same design, but then stick to your own guide lines, which you probably just pulled out of your butt.. Oh, wait, I forgot, you messed up your own templates so much they're unusable.. Of course you want to stick to them, it's either that or, you know, making proper templates.. Aaargh.

..I'm a pretty flower, everything's fine, I'm calm and at peace with everything around me.. ^_^

I'm pissed because I have to come back here tomorrow and do the exact same work I already did today ALL OVER AGAIN.

Because of how I've how to balance living and going to school it's taking longer than any of my peers to graduate. Feels like I'm in arrested development. But the shittiest thing is...I have to go to class for 6 hours straight ever Thursday because I'm terrible at planning my life.

Some days ago my inquisitive litte sister discovered a book that throws a terrible shadow on my ancestry. Apperently there maybe seems to be the slight possibility that it might be likely that I share blood with one of histories least liked personalities. But that's not what's messing with my groove, I think that's quite funny.

Dog is sick ^_^

I give you a hint. He had a fondness for funny facial hair and genocide.

In the 1830ies said persons grandmother worked in the kitchen of my great great great grandfather Ludwig and had a illegitimate child, called Alois, probably with his brother Adolf.
I haven't read the mentioned book yet, so I don't know how much of this is speculation, but it is definitely possible.

I miss the malazan chat crowd.. my real life friends are just no good for letting off steam and unused energy ^_^

I NEED SOMEONE TO MATCH WITS WITH! Someone who's not my best friend and too precious to creep out, though I might have been walking the edge recently.. Alternatively, an ass-kicking contest. Or just someone I can kick around some.. Studious Lock, where art thou when I need you?! :p

None of this is the true reason for why I'm so agitated, but I just want to bury my head beneath something heavy AND go on a rampage at the same time. I know this feeling and I hate it and it will do nobody any good and should go die horribly in a corner somewhere as soon as possible, pretty please.. :p
