What is messing with my groove? Endless proposal rewrites and brain-numbing examinations and re-examinations of regulations for form-filling out that have accreted around a possible kernel of sensibility into a completely daft and byzantine structure that's been basically poked at with a stick since 2002.

Sometimes, I wish I could take a flamethrower to certain file cabinets and computer systems (entirely bloodless), then quietly slip out in the smoke and chaos to let the bureaus put new and better systems together. Hundreds would fete me as their hero, I know it.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

SO laid out that she isn't happy in our relationship anymore. Completely blindsided and feeling pretty devastated. May not have a place to live in 4 months which is just awesome. Hopefully we can work things out, but meh...

I work in security with just one other guy that works opp. shifts to me (when he's off, I'm on etc.) The staff seem to do just what the hell they like and my 'oppo' moans about them as much as I do but is too much of a F***IN' WIMP to say anything to anybody, leaving me to do all the 'dirty work' (which just gets ignored anyway), I'm only 5yrs off retiring so hardly worth looking for anything different. Should I 'throw a 5yr 'sickie' or do I just shoot the useless bastard? Where's Karsa when you need him :-)
