Chrome has spontaneously decided to throw up certificate errors when I try to navigate to Facebook or Google (WTF?!?):

Chrome = problem.

Helpful. No, really. ;)

Anyway, seems the problem has arisen with the latest Chrome version update that enables GPU acceleration by default (I don't know what that means), but Google was in such a rush to get it out that they didn't find the SSL certificate bug I and many others are now having problems with. Probably hasn't been patched yet due to the long weekend. BAH!

I just realised that this is the first year of my life that I haven't been given an Easter egg.

;)

(Yes, I know it's not a big deal. But I don't care!)

I was told I was now too old for an Easter egg, too old!

I still have no voice either, so I couldn't even throw a hissy fit and prove them all wrong. I had to sulk in silence, which would have had more of an impact if I was able to say anything in the first place.

We must revolt against such treatment.

Yeah I'm too far away for sulking to be at all effective :p

I was told that too but I complained enough that I got one in the end.

How is one ever too old for egg-shaped chocolate?!

One is never too old. I still dream of getting a proper sized Easter egg that is filled with caramel (damn you Harry Potter).

I used the same tactic and got almost the same results, except by the time they caved all the easter eggs were sold out. I demand reparations in the form of chocolate, a years supply should cover the emotional trauma that has been inflicted. Sadly, all I have gotten so far is a very skeptical look.

Ive just demolished a bag of haribo and now recognise my need to diet for the gym

Yes I am a fat housewife apparently...

Groove- Book forums need juice I think. OST doesnt leave much room for questions after youve finished it and the 'this book is disappointing' are the threads getting the most mileage which is a shame. I think a prologue from FoD or Blood and Bone would be a good thing

Wry went hunting without me.

I shrunk my shorts and now I can't bend over.

I have a headache and I'm bored.

Woke up in a panic/anxiety attack this morning, unfortunately friends had crashed here and I woke all them up too ;) On the plus side, I did not scream.

I don't think I should drink any more!

Going back to work tomorrow after having a nice 10 day vacation...and I know it's going to suck because our department changed floors while I was away so I not only have to unpack everything but have to try and catch up on all the work that I know people have left on my desk. Methinks I will be cutting out my lunch breaks this week. Sigh.

I don't like most Monday's. It's no secret.

But I want to punch today-Monday into an unrecognizable fucking pulp and slide on its entrails across the pavement smiling like a demon.

Yeah. I'm having THAT kind of day.

Which means that he has all day every day to bother me about school.

So close, and yet so far - I've got the Deadhouse Gates Limited Edition in my hot little hands, but I can't even open the bubble wrap because it's not miiiiiiiiine!! ;)

Ah well, I can take consolation in the fact that this means they're being mailed out and my copy is also on its way...

Wait! You didn't get yours as well? That has got to suck.

Hangovers make such things so much worse. I had a phase where if I had been drinking, I suffered terrible bouts of the night terrors. You have my sympathy!

My groove is messed by a mean toothache. It's bordering on bad enough to go for an emergency appointment at the dentists, I've been awake since 3am. I really don't want to have my wisdom teeth ripped out though..... Making it worse are the builders drilling one floor below. And I'm having write Health and Safety documents which is just depressing on the first day back after a long weekend. Regretting working for a small business, they squeeze the life out of you by getting you to invest loads of extra hours for no extra pay. Since everyone in the business is in the same boat, there's nobody to complain to. I need to rediscover my backbone but I'm too tired and my tooth hurts :p
