It's not the lack of comma use that annoys me. Sure, if they had said 'you can't use commas because blah blah' from the start I'd have been 'meh, that's stupid but whatever'. But they didn't!!!

I've gone back over ALL my documentation, my module, my assignment criteria, the booklet entitled 'How to Present Your Maths Assingment' and NONE OF IT SAYS WE CAN'T USE BLOODY COMMAS!!!!

Apparently, it is mentioned on the online resources page - I may have internet access but I am enrolled as an external correspondance (NON-ONLINE) student. So, for the rest of those who are enrolled like me who DON'T have the internet how the hell are they suppose to know? Stupid arses! :up:

Anyways, I should stop complaining and get stuck into re-writing my goddamn assingment!

EDIT: WHY DOES MY PHONE KEEP SPELLING ASSIGNMENT AS ASSINGMENT!!?!??!

I agree. Not on the comma-as-decimal-point part, because that's fucking retarded. But if you are one of those people who bothers to delineate every 3 orders with any form of punctuation, when writing by hand you're a madperson.

What I'm annoyed about is that we are taught to use commas when writing out large numbers in Australia and yet I was just suppose to know that I wasn't allowed to do it anymore. It's what I was taught and I just checked and it is what my brother is currently being taught. So there was no reason for me to suspect that we weren't supposed to, or at least allowed to, write them like that.

It should have been made more apparent and it should have been made more apparent sooner then it bloody well was!

Well that was silly of them. We were taught you could use commas when writing big numbers for... the layman I guess, but when doing actual math (as oppose to writing a number for how much an item costs or something) you're never supposed to. It's basically a number colloquialism.

I'm sure I'll find it amusing at a later date but right now I'm just pissed off and upset.


Whiskeyjack managed to smash the entire glass cover on Tarquin's tank. There is cat hair and glass throughout the tank and water everywhere! I can't feed Tarquin unless she is in water but until I empty her tank, remove all the stones and glass, and completely clean and check the filter I can't put her back in it. Her tank is big enough that I could sleep in it if I bent my knees a bit. She's sick and I don't have a fucking place to feed her. I don't have a bath or laundry sink or anything that is useful.

I suppose the brightside is that WHiskeyjack is okay - he didn't seem to be hurt beyond his pride. Though he is about 2kg heavier with all his fur wet.

Really tired of all the videogames I have installed.

Stuck in Skyrim because my build makes the Draugr Deathlords a 100% fatality encounter.
Played too much Total War, haven't found any mods that make it more interesting.
Tired of League of Legends because it's a team game, and usually people playing during the week aren't 12, but it's Spring Break for most school districts. And 12 year olds suck.
Absolutely fatigued of playing Civilization.
Minecraft, even with the new update, is kinda boring because my friends took down our server.
Europa Universalis bores me primarily because I've noticed the metagame, and you're either going to do well by default, or get fucked by default. Or you have to wait it out until the situation improves (if it does).
I stopped playing TF2 because my account is bugged and I cannot acquire achievements or unlockable gear.
Half-Life 2 Episode 3 is never going to come out.
Don't get me started on FPS.

All my console games I either cannot find, cannot find my memory cards, or can't bring myself to replay.

Firstworldproblems, right?

There's just one way to fix that. Buy a sketchpad (not one of those small ones, something you can actually draw in) and just draw things when you've got some downtime.

I used to draw bus-seats. Then crap people had on the bus. Then eventually, the people on the bus.
