I went in today.
Turns out it wasn't their fault at all, in fact, they were just as confused as I was.
What happened was my mother called them a number of times while I was away for two weeks and adamantly tried to get my admission to Uni cancelled.
There was a bit of confusion because she can't legally do that now that I'm 18. But nonetheless, there was a mess made from it all.
I haven't spoken to my mom about it yet. I don't even see the point really.

My sympathies.
You're moving out soon, yes?
... and I'd rather not read about a kid in the news who violently killed his family and pleaded for death penalty. It's rarely worth it. And- it would be a loss.

Is Future-mother-in-law paying for the wedding? Not that it would excuse her behaviour but I'm just wondering if she feels she is entitled to dictate things because it's her money or some such bullshit.
EDIT: Ummm.....................?

fast reply! I deleted it because right now I feel a bit too angry to properly talk about it...
Nope, she doesnt plan it. She also doesnt pay for it. We chose the date, the location, everything.
But she wants to plan everything.
And i can understand if she wants to make it easier for us. But going against decisions we already made? We already bought the stuff! It was our work!
And saying it is not our business... ARGH

Nah, she was far too fast for me too follow

Sometimes I just talk to fast, when something's angering me. Not that I said bad things or swear words, but after five minutes I thought maybe I shouldnt talk bad about my future-mother-in-law even before she fully IS my future-mother-in-law.

I'm magic!
Dinivan - The wedding is yours and your wife's day. It's nice that Future-Mother-In-Law wants to be involved but in the end it's about what you and your wife-to-be want. Don't let Futue-Mother-In-Law push you guys into something you don't want to do. You only intend to get married once - make sure it's the wedding you both want!

you are!
We will definetely try to get our way. And have the wedding we want to have. However, I definetely do not want an angry mom-in-law at our wedding. So I think we will find some way to accomodate her. Somehow.
And after all, we will have actually two weddings

So I hear my parent's car drive off, and I think: Im gonna raid the house and make some tea!
I arrive down at the house.
I usually have my tea without water, so I open the fridge to get the milk, to find there is no milk.
Oh well, I'll just make do with condensed milk...
I put the kettle on the stove. Wait ten minutes.
I pour water into my cup.
I open my cupboard... No sugar.
Well, hopefully the condensed milk is sweet enough...
I open the tea-bag container. No tea.
*Looks down at cup of boiling water* ... I'll just suck on this tube of condensed milk...

That confused me, also. I'm assuming it's because he's using condensed milk, though even that is bizarre.

I tried shaving with one of those weird rolling electric shavers today. It thinned it out but for some reason couldn't pick up half the hair on my neck and jawline, so I had to use a real razor after, which absolutely demolished my skin. Lesson: Don't use shitty electric beard shavers.
