So guys. That time of year is slowly approaching us again when people over-eat, over-drink, over-spend and fall over... and never let it be said that we don't do our fair share.
So basically, if you're interested in attending the 3rd annual manchester booze-up, let us know. At this stage, everything is up for discussion and suggestions are more than welcome. It's likely to be on either the 6th or 13th of December, though the 20th is vaguely possible if people prefer. Beyond that, any ideas for things to do are welcome...

If it's the 20th I can spend my first day back in the UK with you guys (don't you feel so honoured )
I realise however that date is probably more inconvenient for the rest of you, so if people want to do it earlier I'll see you next year

Not sure when I'm finishing uni, but 13th or 20th sounds fine by me. I'm easy like that. Can we go somewhere where they don't ID this time as well please?

Why, are you suddenly 17 again? It's impossible to predict normally, some always will, but very few never will...

I was joking silly, hearking back to the first manky malaz meet. Trying to instill a bit of nostalgia. Nevermind, lets get shitfaced and not have to worry about offending our hosts like at the BBQ.

I'll be there if I'm in the country. Still haven't got my darned dates for Noo Joisey so I have no contribution to when would be best I'd love to meet some of the other regulars that I haven't seen so far.

I shouldn't have any trouble with any of those dates as long as I have a couple of weeks notice. I'll see when Phillthy can get back too. If it's weekends it shouldn't be a bother to his stoodent arse. It'll be a shame if IH isn't there though, I'd like to buy him a drink for his Enc Mal efforts!

Only might?! We're going to have to tie you down to more than that. Perhaps you'll definitely be there two days before just in case your transport is late on the day?

What's the general plan? Come dressed as our favourite characters, park in a pub and start a brawl with the rest of the pub around 9 or when the company becomes too difficult to bear?

I'd suggest we meet around lunch time and unlike last year we pre-decide on a place to go and eat, say around 4pm for example. The problem last year was we were having such a good old chinwag that by the time it came to get some food we were too late to eat and I had to get a McDonalds with IH at about 11pm and eat it in the cold!
I'd suggest say 1pm -3pm meet up in a central pub
once everyone is assembled go to a place where we can get decent food for a reasonable price (we need to check out what football/rugby matches are on before we do this) suggestions include the paramount, a few places in the printworks (basically bars), pizza hu, Tai Wu chinese on Oxford Street (you are geting up to £20 a head there though) Thirsty Scholar I think does food, places along Deansgate locks (more expensive again) or going down to Knott Bar and Atlas where we can get character ales, fruit beers, wheatbeers etc.
Once we've eaten the world is our oyster, i enjoyed time in Fab Cafe and Thirsty Scholar last year, then everyone back to Broods house for the orgy.
