My dehumidifier arrived today! WOO HOO. Now I'm doing a huge pile of laundry just to put it through its paces. It's going to be an exciting weekend!

Far far faaaaar too pleased with myself for purchasing a Dehumidifier. The joys of being a responsible adult. This thing could be life changing!!! No more de-moulding the bathroom every 2 weeks, washing drying in under 3 days, no more puddles at the bottom of the fridge.

Hahaha I know what you mean we got one about two weeks ago & nearly everyday we check the ceiling & make comments along the lines of "oh yeah thats much better!" etc etc. Love being grown up! :)

Ah, the good bits of continental construction work still haven't crossed the channel, I see :(

Taps, they may well have crossed the channel but our buildings are all old and we're not putting any new ones up to damp proof. Plus there must be some official stat saying we have more rainy days than anywhere else in the universe.

Just emailed Kasson Crooker in a misguided attempt to get him to follow Orbital's lead, reform SPLASHDOWN (the best band you never heard of).

LOL

It makes me happy that I can email someone like that.

I've got Star Wars Force Commander working on my comp. WOOHOO!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Went to see my grandfather who's been pretty sick today. He's doing a hell of a lot better. He's even chilling at home (though he has to go back to the hospital 2x a day for antibiotics), and in pretty good spirits.
