I'm holding in my hands the mass market paperback copy Dust of Dreams. It feels good. I shall start reading this precious volume shortly.

Started reading Dances w/ Dragons yesterday, so far its very good - it's easy to forget how epic fantasy can grab your attention
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Maybe I should have said epic fantasy of a non-Malazan nature...but really I'm talking about the tendency to get caught up in RL concerns and forget what a great escape we can find turning pages - remember this thread is about happy times

Just bought 9 books on Amazon for less than €50, including NoK, RotCG and SW
So by the time OST is released I'll be up-to-date.

Я изучаю русский язык, but I'm not very good yet.

My discovery of the band Chthonic. Wasn't sure if I liked them or not when I saw them the other day (supporting Turisas...) having listened to an album, I really do like them. Pretty insane metal!

Went for a run for the first time in ages, feels good if slightly knackering. Plus it was cold out so my face is stinging. Still, I'm happy I got to do it!

Might be able to leave work early today, since my boss doesn't like me accruing much TOIL and this is the last week before he has to sign off on my timesheet for the month. I've got around eight hours up my sleeve and he doesn't like having to authorise rolling it over into the next month. Not sure what his problem is with it, it's not like I'm racking up a few weeks' worth.

It is recommended to never get over 10 hours worth and to use any accrued within the month accrued by HR and the Enterprise Agreements, so he is actually doing the right thing, which is rare with managers here.
I am happy that the week is nearly over and my belly seems to slowly be getter better.

Fair enough, I wasn't aware of a specific limit.
