Happy for my editor friend, who got a testimonial quote from Brandon Sanderson: "Olivia did a fantastic job fixing up the ebooks for the Mistborn trilogy in the UK. She even noticed a few minor continuity errors that we hadn't caught in any other edition. I'm very pleased that all of my readers will be able to benefit from her work. It's a shame that readers can't truly appreciate the work that copyeditors and proofreaders do, because when they do a perfect job like Olivia did, readers won't notice a thing. All they'll see is the story itself, and that's the best thing a writer can hope to ask for." Brandon Sanderson.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

Was talking to some squatters today and their pretentious, hypocritical, zealous BS made me laugh. Not in their faces of course as I was speaking to them in a professional context, but really they are ridiculous...

The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

This Post from the thread in Other Literature related to The Cold Commands:
Yes, richard m is Richard Morgan, the author in question.
Now if only we could get Sanderson back on the board regularly again as well we'd be laughing.....

Wow! Some really cool speculation here - warms my heart to see the text dragging people this deep.
Special thanks to Abyss for vast chapter and verse enthusiasm; also to Pig Iron for letting it "click" and simply enjoying - would that a lot more fantasy readers were equipped to do exactly that! Oh, and amphibian - in partial answer to some of your speculation - you might want to wonder about Dark Lady Firfirdar...........
Cheers guys

I think he went over to Reddit. Bigger audience there - even if Abyss, QuickTidal, Stone Monkey and the others apparently buy 854390 books a year.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Actually it probably had more to do with someone badmouthing his first book on here. I think it was Gothos

and hey, I buy more books than that.....

I just bought a hardcover copy of Toll the Hounds for $5. I really want to read it - considering ignoring Reaper's Gale completely and just accepting anything that doesn't make sense.

It's that or never finish the series. Reaper's Gale is less entertaining/interesting than listening to my friend talk about her newborn's bowel motion for the fourth time in ten minutes.

There's still a lot of stuff in it to enjoy, and if you can't read more Tehol and Bugg I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but I still can't find my copy of it to summarise HOC style which sucks.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Once you get into it, RG has some of my favourite things in the entire series! It's worth a push to get through, and yeah it would be inadvisable to read TTH without having read RG.
