I love how, without trying, I have found a job that allows me to read the forums whilst working, at least some of the time.

Not sure if this is making me happy or messing with my groove- but my dad just offered the rest of his beer to me, and told me I could have it if I wanted...

I don't, by the way.

DRINK IT HEATHEN!!

Making me happy - totally sweet live street performance today on campus by a remarkably good band with a remarkably awesome name.

Battlehooch!

But seriously, one of their guys plays 2 saxophones at once.

Power outage meant getting out of work 2 hours early. :D

Thankfully it didn't extend to my place where the aircon is battling valiantly against the ghastly heat and humidity. But at least I have only 17 more days here before I start my drive to better climes.

Yay!! I finally got my luggage back from the perfidious Germans... :)

Which is good, I guess. It would have been better had It arrived in the country at the same time as I did, but better late than never...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Forum Activity on the front page reads:

Aaaaaaaawwwwwwww"

An unlikely, though amusing, link
meh. Link was dead :(

I had a friend who did that a few years back. He had to stop somewhere in Kazakhstan because of a kidney infection. True story.

Some poor chap died in iran this year.
Need suggestions for names people.
Something witty involving bataar or kahn, that we could possibly theme the team on.

So far I have:
Kahned heat
Kahn of whoopass
Any which way we kahn
Kahny do it captain
No kahn do
Bataar late than never
Or my personal fave and frontrunner in my mind, but likely not the teams -
Mortal Kahnbat!
