I would say you will find them adequate, but as a man of the law, Morgoth doesn't hire convicts

Whom to trust; an Australian or an Irishman. I don't know what wrongs I have committed to be saddled with such a choice.

After several days of 12+ hour shifts (regular work+ renos), the condo is stating to look habitable again.

Plumbing work, kitchen and painting largely finished. Just need to finish cleaning the bathroom, fix up a few of the floor tiles (mostly just add more grout), and do a bunch of small cosmetic touches. Might actually be able to list it by beginning of April.

If all goes well, I might end up not being completely catastrophically broke after all.

The better half landed a job in Helsinki. We'll be moving there in august. Looking forward to that!

I am, in addition to now being an adult owner of a 3 bedroom apartment (there's so much space), also engaged. I hope I've made a better choice this time around. Well, I know I have, but still. In a year and a half I'll have gotten married twice since becoming a member of this forum Posted Image

Congratulations! :)

Yeah? Helsinki is a great city. A very interesting combination of Scandinavian and Russian. Learn to drink vodka and spend time in the sauna and you'll be fine!

Congrats Morgoth. The wind's of change be a blowing.

My Anniversary edition of GotM is on its way! Not read it in some 10 years I think. Cannot find my old dog eared paperback copy anymore. Probably being eaten by moth's in a box somewhere. Still haven't read TCG. Maybe after a full series re-read. ^_^

Merrill Lynch finally transferred my cost basis information... for securities I transferred in May. Now I can sell without worrying about having to enter the cost basis information manually on my tax forms and risk the hassle of an IRS audit.
