Sushi. Sushi always makes me a merry little g-man. Don't know why a bunch of seaweeds, raw fish and rice ramps up my dopamine levels, but it does. If only it wasn't so expensive, eh?

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

Being back home is great for two reasons: own bed, and shower. Otherwise I would be a lot happier in Brisbane still. >.<
On the plus side, however: ordered final necessary parts to build myself a solid desktop computer, and had a decent flight back. Also, Pacific Rim is fucking awesome. And awesome holiday was awesome.

My singing teacher offered to teach me how to read music along with normal lessons for no extra charge

My job pays me every month, but I avoid the haircut. Really need one now, but I don't want to struggle through half an hour of forced small talk. Oh, the toils of man!

see, all you need to do is to cultivate a reputation of an untalkative, sullen, anti-social type, and then you can get away with not talking during haircuts. And if you get a buzzcut it only takes 15 min.
