Yesterday my daughter told me she and her friends were playing superheroes at school. So I asked her which superhero she was. She said Scarlet Witch. Not Supergirl, Batgirl, or Wonder Woman. Scarlet Witch. Awesome.

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I had an epiphamy on the crapper when reading a book I know well... so I wiped, put my pants and shoes on and went off into the night.
Lent the ex my copy of Sapkowski's second book of short stories. She should like them, I think, if she can get past her dislike of fantasy.

Aaand it's time for more rewatching Supernatural season 1.

Tomb Raider is on sale on Steam! And right after I finish for the semester. It's like Steam knows I have all this free time to fill!

Back home in the Greater Toronto Area, after havig spent the last 24 hours frantically poacking my life away, while tryingto compile and end of year financial report for my Student Council.

Apparently, WestJet's introduced a policy only allowing 1 carry-on piece of baggage now. But the lady at the check in was so awesome, that she checked in one of my carry-ons as another checked baggage piece for free! And she also didn't fine me for heaving one of my suitacases be over the weight limit!

And now i'm home, with loving family. Which is awesome, but often taken fro granted.

And tomorrow I'll finally get a haircut (my last one was end of December)

ANd on Sat i'm off to Ukraine for two weeks! (haven't been since 2008)

The marks I've gotten back so far were all good, and the last 3 won't probably get posted till Monday, at which point i'll be off the Internet grid for 2 whole weeks. So, even if it's somehtign terribad, I won't know about it till after my vacation's done!

I'm taking an awesome dump.

I mean aweseome.
I sorta had to go on the way into work this morning, then when we arrived at work I found the keys to the other van in my pocket, which is bad because the boss is taking it home on the ferry this morning, so no toilet, just a panick involving me sprinting back to the van and racing back to our house, then back to work, like just over an hour round trip. Straight to the toilet under what I could only describe as enormous poop pressure.

I don't doubt it a second, it takes forever to translate Sapkowski's work , I read the last wish while playing The Witcher and absolutely loved it, but I bet they never will translate it all..

Bought a house! The market is so different between Cardiff house prices & Oldham house prices that we have managed to get a 3 bed mid terrace with a lovely garden & off street parking for £12,000 less than we are selling our 2 bed flat with no garden for! Means we can get new furniture (which we need) & pay solicitors/estate agents/removal guys with a bit to spare. Plus Mrs Tiste's job is more or less guaranteed in September so I just need a job now...
