Finally got Lady Kitsu to take an interest in my bookcases. She's narrowed it down to either Good Omens by Gaiman and Pratchett, or The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. This pleases me. This pleases me greatly.

Hm. not sure if this is the right thread, but... the Central Cemetery in Gdańsk is insanely beautiful... in a post-glacial valley and it goes up along the slopes of hills around it. incredible.

I'm pretty sure all the valleys are post-glacial, in that they don't have glaciers in them... :(

Bought American Gods saturday and read it all day sunday. I cant quite get into a full series reread for some reason. I really enjoyed it anyway and Shadow is surprisingly plain for being such a good character.

Just got back to repping 315lbs on flat bench. Last time I did that was Afghanistan about a year ago. Shoulder is going strong and I'm seeing some serious results.

I call any day when one can bench 1.5x their weight and squat 2x their weight a good day. I haven't had such a good day in 7 years.
