Super happy with my new haircut. I had about 10 inches cut off, so I was a little nervous about the end result. But I love it Posted Image

Heading up into the Smokey Mountains now to greet the sun and do some fly-fishing while listening to A Clash of Kings. Will be a beautiful day (as long as I don't accidentally go swimming).

Snotfaces' team won their soccer grand final 2-0! :p

No more having to take her to the game and 2 training sessions a week until next April! ;)

(What, you thought I was genuinely happy just for her? You obviously don't know me as well as you thought you did :p )

49ers whipping the Packers, and a 63 yard record-tying FG to boot.

Yes!

Now maybe those f'ing Packers fans who've been acting like they have the best team of all time before they'd even played a game can shut the hell up.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Goddamn did they get worked. Blew the doors off the vaunted Packer defense, kept them to one TD in the first half, and basically walked all over Rogers.

Great start to the season, was nervous about that game!

As it was my 5 year anniversary at work, I got a mini-bonus last week and so I've used it to buy a batch of new books...7 of them all told, costing me a "whopping" $95 (tax and shipping included). Now I just have to wait for them all to be delivered; it's like an early Christmas, lol.

Now those f'ing [insert sports team] fans who've been acting like 90% of sports fans can blame the umpiring or [insert other excuse] and continue thinking theirs is the best team.

Well they'll still blame the officials- because the NFL's response to a referee strike was to hire an entire new league of referees. Many fuckups will be had.

Yeah, I'm still awaiting my actual package from my Kickstarter Backing...but the digital download was on my ipod seconds after the emails went out.

I absolutely adore the album.

Netflix with Explorers (1985) for the mother fucking win!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

My brother's girlfriend is preggers- which is already awesome. and apparently on one ultrasound picture the little baby had its hand positioned next to its head in a perfect salute, so now our family refers to it as "major" (how's major?) and the other day, my bro and his girl were talking about names and my brother inconspicuously suggested "Karsa", upon which his girlfriend thought about it for a while and then said, yes, that sounds nice, what kind of a name is Karsa? My bro didn't say anything to that..... Awesomeness!
