There is a sort of cult-awesomeness about the first...the second feels like a cash in...and Sean Patrick Flannery doesn't even look like Sean Patrick Flannery anymore, he got chubby or something.

He looks like Sean Patrick Flannery, just a decade older version. And I like the middle age chubbiness :apt:

It's weird, if you watch him in the trailers for BS:II it simply doesn't look like him...and I know people who saw the film and spent the whole thing assuming Connor had been recast and didn't realize it was SPF until the credits.

That said, this was in 2009 right? Well he's on Y&R now and I watched a few clips...he looks much more like himself in those ones (and like you said, just older)...but in BS:II I just can't reconcile his face with that of his self 10 years before. If that's just age (and not drugs or something), then he has aged worse than most people in Hollywood.

I don't see it myself. But then I've seen all his movies including Mongolian Death Worms and he looked pretty much the same in that as he did in BS:11. I don't think he's aged badly but my friend Ducky would agree with you. Personally, I've a thing for formerly well-built guys who run somewhat towards chubbiness with age. It's probably why I still think Sean Bean is incredibly hot. (Though I suspect Gaes agree with me on that one :p )

Was any of that equipment a high powered laser? If not it should have been, even if you can't use it for anything, you should have one. Lasers are cool.

In any case, perhaps not the best news I could hope for, but at least communication channels with gf are open again. I think she may just have upload limits on her internets, by available data.
