The only problem is they use DHL and they won't drop it on your doorstep the first time, so you have to sign a slip and wait another day, unless you're at home when it arrives.

This is weird, and opposite to what happens in Canada. Since Amazon.ca ships to us VIA Canada Post In-Country...but if I order from .com they sometimes use DHL once it crosses the border and I run into that issue you mentioned. It's almost like amazon corporate punishing us for cross-border ordering.

HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

Darcy has a sad face for a stomach in that comic, which made me laugh more than the comic itself.

played soccer today, for the first time since I sprained my ankle 3 weeks ago.
It took me 3 days before I could treat it properly, and I refrained from putting any serious pressure on it for 2 solid weeks.

seems to have paid off, since I was able to run as much as needed today.

I'm not sure where to say this but I'll put it here...

I've just found out the lead singer in my band is getting with the violin player. I love them both dearly so I'm glad they've got together ;)

However, I'm worried what it might do to the band.

Heres to hoping it goes well :)

At least until we get famous :)

Don't worry, there's plenty of hope out there for relationships within bands. Oh wait...

Mrs. QT messaged me that she got me a copy of SSX.

Oh man, I am SO fucking pumped to play this game tonight! I might be more excited than Loki has been about ME3.

THAT'S how pumped I am!

Loki: CHALLENGE ACCEP.........

Matador:
NO!

Loki: Humph! But,,,,

Matador: Kel, NO ONE is more obsessed over a game then you are over ME3 right now. You've been wearing your Garrus shirt for almost a week striaght...

Loki: Yeah, but I wash it...

Matador:
.....you keep playing with your Shepard figurine which you haven't even opened and yet somehow still manage to pretend he is running to save the Alliance soldiers from the threat of a giant turtle. You called to see if you could set up your xbox at the library so you wouldn't have to miss any gaming time. You sighed and said 'I love you' when you walked into the lounge today and I know you were saying it to your copy of ME2 and not me. And sometimes, just sometimes, you hesitate when you go to say I love you and I'm certain it's because you have to remind yourself not to say Garrus or Kaidan. So DO NOT ACCEPT THAT CHALENGE!

Loki:........perhaps you have a point............... But I would have won, you know.

Matador: I know, sweety. I know.

One of my colleagues offered to look into the possibility of making me a bookcase like worrywort posted somewhere here on these boards the other day, but custom fitted to suit my living room and with perhaps a few different details/ height. Not only is that an awesome offer, but since he's going to be out of a job in the very near future, I also don't mind that I'll be paying him - half of it will probably be re-invested into beer immediately.

That is several kinds of awesome (aside from the part where he will be unemployed, that kinda sucks). But bookcase = awesome ;)

I met a fellow dad at my kids' school whose first name is Khan.

You can imagine what movie scene I've been replaying in my head ever since.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Monsignor:...Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.
Connor: [as the brothers exit the church] I do believe the monsignor's finally got the point.

Discovered the "EXPLORE" mode on SSX is a gajillion times better than the "WORLD TOUR" mode which I had first played.

There was much rejoicing. Especially when the roster for EXPLORE said "0 of 153 drop medals collected"...

I have two friends in that flick. I love the first movie, but thankfully have never seen the second.
