There's still a lot of stuff in it to enjoy, and if you can't read more Tehol and Bugg I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but I still can't find my copy of it to summarise HOC style which sucks.

In thread related news, Mississippi voted down Proposition 26, which has caused a unique instance in human history where people can be moderately proud of Mississippi, for about twenty minutes or so.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Speaking of Voting, issue 2 just got destroyed in Ohio. Not saying Unions are flawless, but the firefighters and police deserve better.

Harvey Norman broke the street date for Skyrim - I'm not buying Skyrim but I like that I had Harvey Norman as my no 1. Street Date Breaker :p

If only I had put money on it...

I just bought a hardcover copy of Toll the Hounds for $5. I really want to read it - considering ignoring Reaper's Gale completely and just accepting anything that doesn't make sense.

Like others say: TEHOLLLLLLLLLLLL and BUGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't skip them Knight Commander.

I got my Hardcover when I was reading my TPB version.

It's that or never finish the series. Reaper's Gale is less entertaining/interesting than listening to my friend talk about her newborn's bowel motion for the fourth time in ten minutes.

Once you get into it, RG has some of my favourite things in the entire series! It's worth a push to get through, and yeah it would be inadvisable to read TTH without having read RG.

Skyrim and the new Rammstein single have both been shipped. This is looking to be a good weekend.

See, you all say this but three times I have started this book and three times I have put it down and not gone back to it. I want the page number for when Tehol and Bugg become prominent characters because all I seem to be reading is about the group of annoying whinging blah blah's and that Redmask fellow (boring by the way).

I'm happy because I'm about to head to Warragul to catch up with friends I haen't seen in years :p

I'm kinda divided as to if this is a good thing or not but... My 10 year school reunion is tonight, I guess I will have to decide tomorrow if it is "making me happy" or "messing with my groove" :p

For someone who spends alot of time on sthis site Im surprised you havnt read it yet. Too busy taking pictures I imagine :p. I do see what you mean and it can take a while to get into it but Ive just reread it and it really is a good book. I think it maybe does start slow but it really does pick up and is definitely an advisable read before TTH, if only for spoilers. Tehol and Bugg are prominent throughout and RG is probably their finest hour for sheer humour per page. The Redmask plotline also picks up after a while though is probably the weakest part of the book. Stick with it :D

Happy- While having to do my interview for Waterstones over the phone next to a traffic filled road in the pouring rain it turns out...well I havnt heard back from them so I assume I didnt get it :p . However the Museum have agreed to start paying me to teach school groups so this is flawless victory as everyone at the museum is awesome and It will look good for my PGCE application. Also I have another interview monday for a different job. Hopefully Ill actually be employed soon.

Tonight there my honours group had an end of year drinks thing, which I missed most of because of work. I decided to pop in for the last bit of it anyway, discovered some entertainingly intoxicated fellow students there, and we got kicked out shortly afterwards.

We decided to go somewhere nearby to continue, which was a bit of a walk. Some of the girls popped over the road to the toilet, and the rest of us milled around waiting for them. While we were waiting, some of the group decided a taxi van would convenient. While this was being discussed, a bright yellow HUMMER LIMOUSINE casually pulled up at the lights.

Two of the girls wandered into the road and asked the driver to give us a ride. ('us' being about a dozen grad students in various states of drunkenness)

He did.
For free.
There was loud music, a sparkly ceiling and alcohol we'd purloined from the party. And we yelled "FREEDOM!" at a passing man in a kilt. And give the driver a mass of hugs when we got out the hummersine.

When we eventually got inside the bar, the girl at the front door congratulated us on finishing postgrad (we talk loud :p ). And F in Math were playing. It was Awesome :p

Any body besides me suspect that KL and Co. were so drunk they got a ride from a school bus driver?

Making me happy is the annual Veteran's Day Band of Brothers Marathon that has a mandatory 4 drink minimum.
