I made a fucking awesome chocolate mousse for desert. With a red wine reduction.

(Not to mention the glacé carrots, rosemary jacketed patatoes & rack of lamb for a main), but I'm ultimately proud of my dessert cooking skills.

I zombieboothed my GF and sent it to her. Completely freaked her out, she won't speak to me now.
She won't touch her phone until I go home and delete it.

A very nice Sunday. Kiddo cleared this morning, good conversation with flattering people, very rustic day with lots of relaxing and housecleaning while the wife fixes the electrical system behind our kitchen lights, a new Walking dead episode, and a tasty dinner of Indian food leftovers.

Most impressive. Obi Wan has taught her well.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Love to take credit, but she caught me not the other way around... (she's older, taller and smarter by the way. and more pretty, which goes without saying :) )

Week before last: started wearing hot new shoes to work, cue multiple compliments and exclamations about how vertically gifted I am.

Last week: haircut, got it all chopped off into a feminine pixie style - more compliments ensue.

Feels kinda shallow, but hey, if you look good (and are told as much by several people) you tend to feel good too :p

That being said, I suspect my butt has been secretly snacking behind my back :)

Better than having your butt secretly snacking in front of your back. That would be an anatomical horror.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
