I don't think I needed that image in my head. Thanks, Stormy.

My chances of going to the Frankfurt Book Fair just got a huge boost. I can freeload at an acquaintance's place who just happened to move near Frankfurt this very week and who just happens to work across the street from the fair grounds. Happiness!

Did the following workout in under 22 minutes:

25 pull ups
50 deadlifts, 50 kilo weight
50 push ups
50 box jumps
50 floor wipers (hold 50 kg barbell over you as you lie on floor, lift legs off ground)
50 clean and press 16 kg (25 per arm)
25 pull ups to finish.

Absolutely shattered now mind.

Was at a party tonight, with Lex, and of course everyone noticed our...ahem....affectionate attitudes towards one another. Plenty of winks, "get a room!"'s and general multipurpose egging on. Didn't really mind until one of my closest friends, God rest her soul, asked, "Are you two a couple?" Now, we'd never really had to field that question, believe it or not, everyone just assumed. Anyways, it immediately became awkward after that, and we kinda had to have a talk. For a moment I thought the whole thing was going to come crashing down.

But the great thing is, she doesn't care about labels, and doesn't really feel the need to have them ascribed to us. And amazingly, I share the same sentiments. So yeah, this is actually better, because we don't have to worry about it, because we're happy with the way things are.

Personal growth ftw.

That amount of DL reminds of the 300 workout if this is what that is? did you do one set of 50 or two sets of 25?

It is the 300 workout.

Did all the reps in that order,

Deadlifts and clean and press were actually the only exercises I managed without stopping at some point during it, everything else had at least one break.

Amy Winehouse died.

Not that I'm happy that she's dead, as death is generally a tragedy, but at least she won't put out another album.

Start uni tomorrow, and only just looked at my finalised timetable (unofficial ones came out weeks ago). I have a 3 day week and have no classes before noon. Gotta love uni sometimes.

Managed to make it home safely despite the snow and slippy-slidey roads. Especially happy when i see how many abandoned cars there are up the hill i just negotiated. Phew.

Went to a bahelorette party on Saturday and had loads of fun! A man complemented me on my archery skills <_<

Also hugged things out with a certain MLK, which feels pretty good. Now I don't have to waste a lot of time and energy on wanting to murder her right in the face every time I see her :D

I'm pretty happy nowadays. Breaking up was definitely the right choice!

Love being able to party and have fun without drinking. Yesterday was great, and today is almost better because of no hangover - unlike the friends I was partying with. Also, unlike aforementioned friends, I remember the whole of last night, although I'm not entirely sure whether that's solely a good thing, but whatever. Life is good! <_<
It was ever thus.

My boss told a co-worker that I am invaluable.

It's nice to be appreciated. <_<
