Just got back from watching a very feisty soccer match between my club (University) and a local rival in the Chatham Cup (which is New Zealand's version of the FA cup). It was a really testy affair, and we managed to get a late equaliser to send the game into extra time, and then ran out 5-1 winners. The other team had 2 men sent off by the end. Plenty of amusing banter on the sideline kept us all entertained through the game as well.

A good victory for the lads after a tough few weeks (one of our players collapsed and nearly died on the field about 3 weeks ago). But that player is doing better now, and the rest of the team have rallied around and won a couple of big games since. And I managed to get a photo sequence of the game winning goal (i.e the one that made it 2-1) so I'm happy too.

Strawberries, with joghurt and honey. And some oatmeal.
Before the insults start flying, I just feel I need to offset the weekend diet of bacon, eggs, potato chips and beer.
Plus, it's really fucking hot outside.

Went to the Texas-Kent State baseball game this afternoon(got to get to leave work early after a half day as well) and watched us win 5-0 to advance to the Super-regionals that I already have tickets to for this weekend. Loving it. -_-

hell yeah!
we've finally finished moving stuff around the house so the for firs ttime since ive been home from glasgow i could crack out the ps3.
rockband, straight on the drums and about 3rd try nailed let there be rock on hard. Bastard had me beat in glasgow, but no this time!
only 2 songs left on hard on ac/dc career, then its time to step it up a notch.

New strings installed and prepped. Got the tune them every 5 minutes or so, but the sound is so much better!

My brother seems to be doing well - which is a relief. Hopefully he'll finally use this as an eye opener and stop drinking to bloody excess in future.
