All my clothes are accounted for, and have been neatly placed in ze wardrobe closets! There are 3 double ones...I graciously gave my bf 1 of them. The rest are all MINE!!!




I also have way more books than I thought! Score :D

Realized the reason I was forgetting something awesome (see other thread) was because my brain had quietly gone into overdrive, thinking up topics for my essays due on Monday which I haven't started yet. EPIC. :D

Got told by one of my favourite teachers at uni that I've got talent [she's the kind of person who would tell you straight in the face you can't draw sh*t, usually]. Back home I looked up on the net what her works look like and went 'Holy sh*t, I LOVE that stuff!' She's amazing and she's teaching one of my favourite subjects and considers me one of her best students [though I've got no idea about the why]. Happiness.

Oh, and I ordered my new laptop yesterday. Fingers crossed that I'll get rid of my current pc soooon.

Life's kinda great atm.

Okay, so I know I have been somewhat anti-Dr. Who of late, mostly due to the fact that my only expereince with it has been Matt Smith and a couple of less then awesome David Tennant episodes (except for 'Blink' - that was really good) however, I decided to give the series a fair go and went back to the first season (the one with Christopher Eccleston) and I am currently half way through. So far I have decided on the following (these observations may change as I get further through the series) -

1. I like Christopher Eccleston far better as Dr Who then Smith or Tennant.
2. Whilst none of the Doctor's are particularly attractive I have concluded that Eccleston is the better looking of the three.
3. Billie Piper's facial structure irks me.
4. I rather enjoyed watching 10 Downing Street blow up (much more then I expected I would)
5. So far, I really rather enjoying Dr. Who.


I'm happy because I have at least half a season of a new (for me) tv series to watch.

Christopher Eccleston was the producers' first choice for the new doctor. However, he bailed after a season essentially because he didn't want to become typecast or known as 'that guy who plays the doctor.'

Of course, then he went on to be the badguy in the fucking GI Joe movie... so fuck him.

Hrm. I guess I'm a guy, so my opinion doesn't really count to much (:p), but Tennant has his own 'popularity' section on Wikipedia which *specifically* notes the following:

I just watched the entire run up to season 4 finale myself, and it was great. But I'm a HUGE Tennant fan (in case you haven't noticed), so 3 out of those 4 were with the one true my favourite Doctor. :p Glad you're enjoying it, though, because it's a great TV show. :D

Met a dude on the train who was holding a copy of THE CRIPPLED GOD, no less. Struck up an incredibly nerdy and awesome conversation with him about QB, KCCM, Stonewielder and heaps more. Felt really awesome, and also because I like to just strike up conversations with strangers :D
