Almost had a bad situation at work today, but thanks to my logical brain, the day was saved. It also involved other people having to admit they stuffed up just a little - and they did it themselves.
Them: "No, we don't have that here."
Me: "Are you sure? We've checked all over. Can you just have a look please to rule you out?"
20 mins later ...
Them "Ummm ... yeah, we have it. And we have another that isn't on our paperwork. But one that was on our paperwork must be with you." (if you're counting, that's 3 accounting errors)
Me: "Heh, no that one was signed out to someone else, on Monday. Last week."
... and a great sigh of relief went across the land.
