Wait, you enjoy that shitfest of a comic? The one by the horrible racist arrogant misogynistic hypocritical talentless thieving paedophilic fuckbin? The one where all jokes are overwritten to the point of insanity, the plots veer from wacky random humour for the sake of incoherent randomness to overly dramatic car crashes of failed story telling and the key and overriding principle is Tell, Never Ever Show? The one with the lead character who is an asshole selfinsert who's wacky and crazy and does horrible asshole things and everyone apologises to him for what he did? The one by the fuckbin who saw Penny Arcade start the charity Child's Play and felt left out and decided to make his own charity in competition with them, got a pitiful number of donations in comparison and then took it all and spent it on a $2000 tablet he uses to drag templates over from a folder onto a new comic, which he could do in MSPaint for none of the price? The fuckbin who wrote a miscarriage into his gaming webcomic plot? The fuckbin who wrote a 14 year old forum member's name above his penis and sent a picture to her, then banned everyone in that part of his forums who mentioned and deleted that section? The fuckbin who autobans anyone who even dares to venture an ounce of constructive criticism, regardless of intent? The fuckbin who recently posted a comic with an exceptionally racist statement, then had to do four revisions of it before he worked out the reason why people were metaphorically spitting on him on the street? Almost had a bad situation at work today, but thanks to my logical brain, the day was saved. It also involved other people having to admit they stuffed up just a little - and they did it themselves.

Them: "No, we don't have that here."
Me: "Are you sure? We've checked all over. Can you just have a look please to rule you out?"
20 mins later ...
Them "Ummm ... yeah, we have it. And we have another that isn't on our paperwork. But one that was on our paperwork must be with you." (if you're counting, that's 3 accounting errors)
Me: "Heh, no that one was signed out to someone else, on Monday. Last week."

... and a great sigh of relief went across the land. :D

Got told by one of my favourite teachers at uni that I've got talent [she's the kind of person who would tell you straight in the face you can't draw sh*t, usually]. Back home I looked up on the net what her works look like and went 'Holy sh*t, I LOVE that stuff!' She's amazing and she's teaching one of my favourite subjects and considers me one of her best students [though I've got no idea about the why]. Happiness.

Oh, and I ordered my new laptop yesterday. Fingers crossed that I'll get rid of my current pc soooon.

Life's kinda great atm.

Okay, so I know I have been somewhat anti-Dr. Who of late, mostly due to the fact that my only expereince with it has been Matt Smith and a couple of less then awesome David Tennant episodes (except for 'Blink' - that was really good) however, I decided to give the series a fair go and went back to the first season (the one with Christopher Eccleston) and I am currently half way through. So far I have decided on the following (these observations may change as I get further through the series) -

1. I like Christopher Eccleston far better as Dr Who then Smith or Tennant.
2. Whilst none of the Doctor's are particularly attractive I have concluded that Eccleston is the better looking of the three.
3. Billie Piper's facial structure irks me.
4. I rather enjoyed watching 10 Downing Street blow up (much more then I expected I would)
5. So far, I really rather enjoying Dr. Who.


I'm happy because I have at least half a season of a new (for me) tv series to watch.

Christopher Eccleston was the producers' first choice for the new doctor. However, he bailed after a season essentially because he didn't want to become typecast or known as 'that guy who plays the doctor.'

Of course, then he went on to be the badguy in the fucking GI Joe movie... so fuck him.

Hrm. I guess I'm a guy, so my opinion doesn't really count to much (:p), but Tennant has his own 'popularity' section on Wikipedia which *specifically* notes the following:

I just watched the entire run up to season 4 finale myself, and it was great. But I'm a HUGE Tennant fan (in case you haven't noticed), so 3 out of those 4 were with the one true my favourite Doctor. :p Glad you're enjoying it, though, because it's a great TV show. :D
