So, it's 10:15pm and we decide to do a snack run. We get in the car, turn out of our street and there's a 6ft long snake in the middle of the road (so not a big one). It's obviously fed recently because it's got a large bulge about a metre along its length.

Because I didn't have my mobile with me and Matador doesn't have the Animal Rescue number on his phone we couldn't call someone to come remove it. I should probably mention that I live in the suburbs and this road is populated with family homes and a primary school so it isn't safe to have a snake around. Plus, due to fact that I live in the suburbs now I no longer have snake removal gear on hand/available to use (my Dad was a snake removalist and when I turned 12 I was old enough to work with him. I was the only sixth grader with a job :D ) so I thought I should let the people whose driveway it was headed for know about it and let them call someone.

Whilst I'm standing on their porch knocking on the door I hear sirens wailing and suddenly I know exactly what is about to happen. I turn my head and just as I look at the snake, it's head raised up, an ambulance screams past and runs over it - EXPLOSION!!! The side of the snake exploded and a rats head went flying out of it onto the sidewalk. The snake, still alive and with a giant gaping hole in its side, starts to slither away - the rest of the rat hanging out.

Now, I'm an animal lover but c'mon - it was an EXPLODING SNAKE!!! :D

that last exam I was stressing about (because i'm a lazy ass who can't force himself to study)--felt like a piece of cake. I'm tempted to think "IT'S A TRAP", but i'll do so tomorrow. sweet fuck double yes.

and tonight is a night of epic drunkedness waiting to happen. holy sweet fuck triple yes, I need that.

Holiday! Finished packing my clothes, just got books/CD's etc. to go now. Leaving tomorrow and getting the afternoon ferry, we'll not be away long, just till Saturday but I love going to South Uist. Only downside is there is no internet but I survived a month without it when I went there last year and if the weather is good I'll be too busy at the beach/on the croft to care. Going to take my shinty stick with me. I'm extremely excited.

Quality time with a girl on Sunday night/morning did a lot to revitalize me :D I still have it.

Firstly, Hemsworth is so doable I would even allow him to keep the beard.

Well I can't imagine having my face sucked being pleasant even without a beard. So frankly I think you may be confusing the two.

Admittedly I haven't.

I have yet not been able to grow a full beard, so I keep clean shaven and haven't had feedback about any form of beard as yet.

Still think beards are awesome though.

I think I know what you are referring to ... but did you stay until after the credits?

I saw it tonight as well. After an excellent meal cooked by Centz at her place (I took over all the leftover healthy stuff), we saw a 2D session of Thor in town. Good flick, despite some misgivings I had over what part of the mythology they were using. It seems they were going with Marvel (instead of historic) Asgard all the way, so I guess that's OK.

Got free food from Sombra tonight (as mentioned above) and saw Thor for the second time. I have to say, the 3d really doesn't add much to that film, having seen it in both now. surprising given the visuals.

But the happy is from the free food :) and I am still on holidays until Tuesday next week ;)

(bringing the beard discussion back) I enjoyed my beard. It was a good beard. I slept with a lesbian while I had that beard. That said, after I shaved it off I had two threesomes. Clearly it needs more and thorough testing to determine which is superior.
