Just got back from the field component of my course today after nearly 2 weeks out there. Passed. 
Dear God, but showers are soooooo wonderful. As are beds. I hit the sack at 3:30pm and just woke up at 2am, gonna read here for a bit and go back to bed soon.
I may have to shoot my hideously manky uniform though. It's sitting in the corner, plotting to overthrow some small 3rd world country ...
Had to take the pants in with the velcro tabs at the hips while I was out there. Considering before the course I was starting to feel a bit snug in them. I figure I've lost maybe 5-6 kg.
At least it's not as bad as field at basic training was - there I took the tabs all the way in and still had room ... in an 80cm waist! Lost 8kg in 2 weeks on that occasion.
Forget the Biggest Loser - do military field time.

Just found out that I should be getting the job i really wanted for this summer
. Even better is it'll allow me to get back into a shape besides round.
