Had quite a bit of fun at a friend's birthday party last night.

It was pretty great except I am sure the wine had gone off.

People who know this stuff - when the wine is pretty tart, and so bitter as to leave a lasting aftertaste, that's a bad sign, right?

Nah. That’s just the arsenic.

Found Christmas presents for two of the three people who are going to get any kind of present from me for Christmas. You could say I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping :(

Well, the salary increase I requested back in August came through. Not the entire thing, I get about half of what I asked for, which comes down to about a 15% increase overall. Which is pretty damn awesome all on its own. In addition though, since I didn't get the full increase they decided to give me a promotion instead. I am now the senior legal adviser. While also being the youngest in the office. This is really really awesome, but I can't really talk about it at the office, so you guys will have to be my outlet Posted ImagePosted Image

I was listening to my favourite star wars podcast and they read out my email! That's just so... nerdy, I don't think I can even tell anyone, but it made me stupidly happy hearing them discuss!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.
