Congratulations on the future of climbing up into attics and looking into basements to find the remains of the questionable decisions of previous occupants.

Hands down the best congratulations I e received.

You get to see what people really do with their houses! And save people from catastrophic consequences of those decisions!

I truly think you are doing a great thing and wish you all the luck, gigs, and safety that you could ever want.

Boyan Slats Ocean Cleanup are running tests on system001 prior to its deployment this summer.

We need more young people like this in the world, and less Kardashians

I'm going to be an uncle!

I'm actually not allowed to tell anyone until the parents of the boyfriend of my sister get the news, but I hope no one here will tell them and ruin the surprise. I just have to tell it someone :)

I taught my nephews to pile up some birdseed on the downside of a see-saw at the bottom of a plateau and then when their rival comes to peck at it, drop an anvil onto the other side of the see-saw, propelling the rival directly up to where they're waiting on the mesa with knife and fork in hand.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I just have the biggest grin on my face right now. I'm talking ear to ear (it hurts sooooo good). U.S.A. beat Can't-A-Duh in hockey world championship for bronze metal. I will skip around all day today like I'm floating on a cloud and proudly explain to anyone who asks why I have such a big grin on my face. Posted Image

Grin just got even bigger (if that is even possible). Vegas Golden Knights beat the WinnyPig Pets (from Can't-A-Duh) to advance to Stanley Cup finals.

Wow, what a bleak day for Canadian hockey fans. Must suck to be you.Posted Image

No experience with guns so I can't teach the first one, but the second one is definitly knowledge everyone should have. I will try to pass it on ^^

After maybe ten years away from the game, I'm getting back into Magic the Gathering.

My brother has a group that plays regularly in the Commander format (100 cards, no repeats of cards allowed, with one being a Commander that determines what colors the deck can be).

So I've been going down the rabbit warrens of figuring out quite a lot of cards, putting together three decks, and seeing what add ons I can make and afford. So far the results have been promising.

The best part is that my best deck is a tribute to Terry Pratchett called Wizzards and Gizzards (with Derevi the bird wizard as commander). I've received good feedback on this deck in that it's fun to play against.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Dont bother putting stuff together from your old decks. If there is one thing I learned is that 95% of the cards that used to be great are noe utterly useless. You get much more powerful stufffpr way less mana cost these days. And stupid new abilities that simply bypass or anull most of your awesome cards. That is how they keep selling.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Although my vampire deck still seems to do alright.

My brother took nearly every card I/we had when I dropped out for so long and actually found that the best bits of yore can still be pretty good today - although we didn't have very many best bits in comparison to other people.

I'm never going to play Vampire or Zombie decks. Might do an Ooze tribal or Fungus tribal or go Nerset or Roon or Angels tribal.

Best cards that we had from a long time ago is probably the Elvish Piper plus Captain Sisay combo. They're all heavily played because we didn't use sleeves at all.

Hah! I just flipped on my dual lands too funny.. did the reasonably thing and turned my cash into a small hoard of board games. How’s that for a adult decision ! Winning.

Otherwise drafting is where’s it at anyhow. If I played I would do that. (I refuse to play 40k and MTG cause it’s claimed way to much of my life...)

Sidebar: Found Dune and Titan— played titan with my bro as a kid, gonna try to rematch him soon.

Dad is out of surgery! He's sitting up in a chair this morning and I can go see him tonight after work. I don't think I've ever been so relieved in all my life :D

Back home from cottage at a decent hour for once.

sunburnt, sleepy, exhausted, probably still mildly drunk.

Gonna crash hard most likely- but there's plenty of time to sleep everything off.
