My friend who has struggled with multiple miscarriages just gave birth to an adorable, healthy baby girl. ;)

Congrats to them! They call that a rainbow baby.

My daughter was one of those too...and there was a rainbow outside the hospital on the day of her birth.

Seems we are having births everywhere! A good friend and his wife just had their first baby - a very healthy, very adorable son!

Made an arrest for human trafficking this set of shifts. Turns out the people who were arrested were part of a bigger trafficking gang. The young girl who was in the car with them is now safe. Feels pretty good, I won't lie. ;)

I met another Malazan fan with no forum connection and enough enthusiasm to talk me into buying another ICE book.

Also I logged back in. Hi everybody!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Well today is my last shift for Renault Sport, my last F1 shift (for the foreseeable future at least anyway!) and my last drive home from this neck of the woods. Only 1.5 hrs to go before I can leave, the longest shift ever!
I've managed to secure a job back home and now I'm just waiting on a start date, so it looks like I've got net week off.
I've had a blast in the last 18 months, but it's time to go back to reality!

The Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 is glorious. Zelda Breath of the Wild is amazing too, but Mario Kart is so damn fun with a partner.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I got to meet Poppy today. She's five days old and she already has mastered the side-eye. Her facial expressions are so sassy, it's hilarious. Even more so due to the fact that she has that squished egg-head thing natural birth babies often have going on.

Not a cloud in the sky(and won't be any tonight) and the sky is extra blue today. Lows in the low 60's tonight will give me an adequate viewing of Jupiter, Saturn, Arcturus, Vega, and Spicia.

I know where to find Jupiter Spica Arcturus and Vega, but where should I look for Saturn? (And don't say, "up.")

Thanks! I'll have to wait till the middle of the night or later to go look. My southeastern horizon is mostly obscured by pesky civilization. I know I can see Scorpius around 2 or 3am when it wheels into the gap between two buildings.
