So my mom stayed at a hotel last week, and came home with all of this "free stuff" that she said was in a basket in her room. The contents included:

1. a bottle of fiji water
2. a bottle of san peligrino
3. a full sized bag of goldfish crackers
4. a bag of trail mix
5. a bag of pretzels
6. multiple bags if chips/crisps
7. two granola bars
8. maybe more? She keeps whipping out other items

So.... I stay in a lot of hotels, and the one she was at wasn't that great. I'm pretty sure she bought at least a hundred bucks worth of snacks, but I don't want to break it to her.

That is simply hilarious.

I hope she never sees the bill.

They're goldfish-shaped cheese crackers, similar to Cheez-Its.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Just reached the 10,000 word mark in my thesis, and my first chapter done. Only 90,000 more words to go!

My childhood game of spot the 50 states plates has been finished as of today. Spotted Hawaii plate in front of me today!

That's so fucking hard to find if you're not in San Diego or some other place closer to Hawaii. Well done.

I did the quarters thing. That was fun too.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Cheap beer is trying its utmost to make me happy. Knowledge of Donald Trump is stymieing progress. I think I need a new good book.

So I've heard...Unfortunately I've read all his stuff, except for the Willful Child books. Maybe it's time for some re-reads.

Tomorrow is the first day of February, which means it's one day closer to spring.
Also, that January will finally be over.
