On the subject of the book, I have everything ready to submit in final form now bar the manuscript's final edit, which will take me all of fifteen minutes to format. Pretty chuffed about that.

Had a riding class on the horse I fell off (while jumping) about six months ago. My confidence has slowly been coming back but it's a long haul process. Did a five jump course with some really tricky lines and turns in there on her, and it went perfectly. Feels great to have the "I can do this" feeling back :hrhr:

That's pretty brave and admirable to get back on that same horse.

Reminds me of the old adage: A horse's cruelty is matched only by its propensity to love.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Finally moved in with the gf 2 weeks ago. I'm loving it, actually. The apartament is pretty spacious compared to what I rented before on my own, and we've already put quite a bit of our stuff in to make it a small slice of heaven. At least for the next year or so.


Them bills for furniture and other stuff do build up though.

My (probably skewed) perception of the Millenials is those who grew up post-Y2k. They tend to take technology for granted (and lots of other things besides)

80s and 90s kids actually got to see the evolution of high-tech and the explosion of the Information Age, catching the tail-end of the values of a "slower-paced" era.

I was growing up in the 90s on the other side of the Iron curtain (which meant we got culture influences from the West with 2-5 year delay). I came to the West @ 12, at the end of 1999. By then I've formed a lot of fundamental opinions about the world.

This terminology has always confused me. Born in 1989, never been to the West, but heavily influenced by the West. Am I a millennial? Also I don't take things for granted, except waterlogging. You can always count on waterlogging

Did anybody watch a show called Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad? Erm no. I was 10 when the www was invented so cyber stuff most certainly did not feature in my childhood viewing. Thundercats was the pinnacle of childrens entertainment in my book.
