The green one has a point.

@Tiste: It was just too early for a drink. And I am trying not to drink on my own. :(

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Well ... a lot ... of work. Got two deadlines coming up, and I plan to meet then head on.

Besides that:

Dinner with friends tonight.
BBQ with family tomorrow.
Going to get my kids after they spent a week at my in-laws, wreaking havoc there :-)
Seeing Inglourious Basterds.
Quake Live.
And mixed through all of that ... a solid dose of DoD :-)

An of course, sex, visiting this place, arguing with you lot, etc. etc. But that's a given.

JUst got some positive feedback about a potential job. It's too early to tell, they just sent me info and told me to fill out a list of questions if I wanted to "continue the interview process." So, maybe this could turn into something? POssibly? Downsides are the pay isn't great, kind of shit actually. NOt a huge problem, my wife makes almost enough money to support us, so it will be enough. PLus, this is an entry level job in a new field. I would be taking care of some seriously disturbed kids. That's a little unsettling, the info they sent me didn't try to sugarcoat it, these kids are in rough shape.

This would be a first step of getting out of education into social work, something I think I would enjoy. Who knows if it will even turn into anything, but it's nice to get some contact, especially on the same day I sent in my application.
