Went to see "Wicked" the musical at the fantastic Lower theatre in Salford on Friday. Truly stunning production.
Also that new vaccination bill that just passed in California gives me hope!

That reminds me, I went to an amateur performance of Shrek the Musical at my local park last week. 2.5 hours of total nonsense, malfunctioning microphones, and a white dude doing his best Eddie Murphy impression. Needless to say, I loved it.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

My brother exists online more than in real life. 90% of his non-familial socialising occurs online via Skype and in-game voice chat etc.
His PC has been dying for a few months now. When he turned it on this morning the cpu was running at 100% from the get go. He has been really looking forward to Heavensward (or whatever the Final Fantasy mmo expansion is called) for months and he hasn't been able to play it at all.
So he has been really lamenting his crappy pc, and how his friends keep giving him shit as they have all already leveled their characters to lvl 60 and keep inviting him to play when they know he can't etc.
I'm finding it all really amusing because what he doesn't realise is that my partner and I have already ordered a brand new pc for him (an early 18th birthday present) which ought to be ready early next week.

I just discovered this beautiful piece of poetry.
We Are More
Sadly the writer doesn't believe in it any more. But beautiful is beautiful .

Well after a pretty shitty few months that include my folks deciding they have to leave the pub (some of the arseholes we've kicked out are scaring away the rest of the punters and we're losing money every week) my brother charlie and his wife losing their baby, which was obviously hardest for them, but crushed the entire family. And my girlfriend breaking up with me (she was a bit older and worried we might want different things in a few years), i finally feel like my family are coming out of the other side.
my folks seem pretty happy about a new start back up north near my brother, and charlie and steph are trying again strong bastards that they are.
And having gone to some awesome gigs to see Beck and then Blur, plus having just gone to glastonbury and having the best time of my entire life im feeling much more positive about the future too. Besides, there are some benefits to being single in london during the summer
So I guess this is more a general feeling of happiness then one specific thing, but i figured here was as good a place as any for it.
Hope everyone else is good, I've been away a while!

If it does and Cruise DOES actually leave the CoS...you watch as the famous people leave in droves and the average ppl in it do as well.

I'm skeptical. Do you get Star Magazine in Canada? Cuz it's like Rupert Murdoch's answer to the National Enquirer. In other words, it might be the publication with the least credibility on earth.

That's fair enough. But it would be nice for it to have at least a basis in truth. I think Cruise is the lynch pin with which Mi$cavige is able to hold the whole thing together....and without him it would hopefully/thankfully fall apart.
What can I say, I'm a dreamer!

Haven't been around for a while. Getting divorced and was laid off from my job. I miss you guys. THinking of this group made me smile. Then I thought about how much I fart and was also wondering if you all fart a lot too.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

I wouldn't call it a LOT, I mean a gas giant would move waaay more material in an hour than I would. So really "nearly constantly" still counts as farting infrequently when you look at it from a certain perspective.
