Discovered the Anime section on Netflix (my fiancee is the account holder). Looking forward to getting onto GITS at some point over the next coming weeks.

Also, finally worked out where my book needs to go next. Time to get political.

I just discovered Battlestar Galactica on Amazon prime.

I've always just missed it, or the start, and never got round to seeing it - and I just found the whole lot free on prime.

Watched the first intro mini series - blown away by how good this is so far!

Hope you enjoy it! It does the typical long show thing of dipping around season 3 to 4, but still more than worth watching.

Hell yeah. I've figured out what I want out of life.

60 acres of wooded property, a bulldozer, and a good spot for a burn pile.

I've just spent an hour a half using the Kubota FLB digging out one stump, knocking over three smaller trees that I've hated for years, knocking over the clothesline posts, and attempting to knock over two somewhat larger trees I also have no use for.

In the morning I've got to see if I really did bend the boom arms on the front end loader. It's dark and hard to tell right now. The beers might be messing with my depth perception.

Also, my judgement.

I love being able to temporarily kill a thread while people try to figure out whether to respond or just ignore it and move on.

Many of these trees were my friends. Creatures I had known from nut and acorn. They had voices of their own.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

My second interview for an accounting job went really well. Unfortunately the CEO's daughter had to go for surgery so he wasn't able to come in for the interview, so im waiting on a third interview but im very happy with how things are going. If anything a third interview is a sign they are still interested in me.

I don't know if the other two candidates have made it this far but what i do know is i got the email for the 2nd interview shortly after he finished his other interviews and its a subsidiary of a french multinational so given my fluency in french it could be the tiebreaker i need

Their old material (albums #1 and #3, Beautiful Tragedy and A Star-Crossed Wasteland respectively) are very much metalcore / groove metal. Their second album (The Dream) was much more hard rock. From Blood and Black Widow onwards, they've gone into more electro and pop territory.

Would definitely see again..I see the Pop and electro references after seeing them.

The undercard's were cool too: The Defiled and 36 Crazy fists.
