I'm getting married in 8 days. Bachelorparty tonight as it turns out. Not entirely sure whether I should be elated or terrified.

Mostly I'm just happy all the planning is done and that Sarah has yet to recognise her mistake.

I have dozens set out so that I can pick the appropriate style for every occasion. Ceremony scarf, dinner scarf, waltz scarf, wedding night scarf. They're all there.

I actually do have a white silk scarf for the coat and tails I'm wearing for the church ceremony. It is the result of a compromise after Sarah denied my wish for a top hat.

Friend is about to read the end of Deadhouse Gates for the first time. It's crazy just how much waiting for his reaction excites me. It's the closest I can get to reliving the experience for the first time, and damn, it's good.

First time driving since like 5 years. Felt really good. Started out just driving around an empty lot, but I ended up going on the road and driving halfway back home. I think I love driving. I must get a car.
