Heehee, seems I have no right to post in 3.0 about extensions, as we have one ourselves

Will post the topic if it takes the
For anyone who has submitted moves already: I won't accept changes, this is a pure emergency.
Have we not got to the stage now where people learn to put in provisionals if there's any chance they might not put in real orders? Seriously?

I suggest a new rule - each person only gets a limited number of extensions to a deadline. Say, four... If you're late, there is an extension, but you lose a strike. Once you've hit four, you no longer get extensions unless clearly asked for beforehand with a good reason.
Sounds like a plan, but to be introduced at spring 2002, I'd say, so people can adjust themselves to it.
However, something else has come to my attention: I can't count. Mistook one provisional for the required number of submissions, instead of looking at the name. We lack input from another player, too, and I doubt he'll respond fast. So, I'll postpone till tomorrow 10 PM or until that person sends his moves in, he has been PMed.
Next deadline will be Friday as usual for the Fall turn.
