If they ever make a Malazan film, Kallor should be played by Samuel L Jackson.

Not sure about Depp for Tethol or Samuel for Kallor but Jack Black would make a good Kruppe. Pad him out a bit more and a semi serious role he would nail it.
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

A bit off the wall, but how about, for Kruppe...
...Robin Williams?
(Don't hate me.)

Actually quite good. It would need someone almost effimianannanant ( sp ) and funny. and rather annoying.
The chap who sits next to me at work would be good.

No you would definitely need Samuel to play someone like Bottle or Truth. Maybe Harlest or Shurq's first mate in RG

When I see Kallor in my mind its the janitor dude from the Harry Potter films, Filch or whatever his name is.
Probably as unfitting as my Tehol: Larry David.

I reckon Denzel Washington would be a great Barathol Mekhar. He's more suited towards being quiet and dangerous than, say,
SAMUEL L. MOTHERFUCKING JACKSON

Uhm, Barathol is supposedly even bigger than Kalam. Denzel Washington is a stick in the wind.

You've giving me a headache.
Fine, use DW as Kalam or another black guy. But not QB. QB is not of this world.

Anthony Hopkins as Kallor, maybe if they beefed him up a bit i think he would look the part.
Thats my suggestion.
And i agree with Depp as Tehol, that would be pretty funny.
But I could only see this ever happening like 50 or 60 years from now.

I never reckoned Tehol as Depp... he is too hairy.
For Bugg, I vote Robin Williams. He is a genius with humour and he and Tehol have had some ROFLBANSHEE moments.

Paul and Pauline Calf as Lord and Lady Luck/oponn
Bruce Willis as Fiddler? Simon Pegg is too young and way too weak so maybe Bottle instead?
Lawrence Fishburn as Rake?
Keanu Reeves as Ganeos Paran
Cate Blanchet as Tavoure Paran
Some young nubile chick as Feliesin Paran
Oh and James Corden as Kruppe, (the fat guy from Gavin and Stacy)

Naah, Daniel Craig is too muscled for Paran. Paran should be played by some young, not-over muscled pretty boy. Johny Depp perhaps?

Hollywood would probably cast someone like Haden Christianson (sp?) as Paran for the chicks to look at and go ohhhhh!

To be honest he fits perfectly with Paran being such bitch in GotM and MoI

Yeah Paran wasn't one of my favorite characters until BH or nearing the end of MoI. Before that he was just annoying.

Oh and if anyone watches Boston Legal, Kruppe really reminds me of Alan Shore at times.
