So the reason L.A. has lost 2 franchises is through poor city management? Well, that doesn't bode well for the franchise anyways. The Angels have done their damn dance: California, L.A., Anaheim, Anaheim-L.A. The Clippers have been a laughing stock forever (although they seem to have gotten their act together lately). The Dodgers are ok.

The city has shown it doesn't know what the heck to do. Anyways, you got your Trojans and Bruins, just enjoy the Pac-10 :D

If not here: not in downtown, not in the ghetto, and not in the boondocks. Then WHERE?

P.S.: After the great-Folken mimickry, have people just switched avatars? I know RLY has Terez's, Apt has RLY's. Terez has Broods? Or have I just been hallucinating (wouldn't be the first time).
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

What are the Angels now, officially? The 'Los Angelas Angels of Aneheim' I think?

no, it has nothing to do with the cities. poor ownership was the primary problem.

frontiere left because the rams needed a change of scenery after being suck for however many years. noone likes her around here(or her zombie either since shes dead)

al davis did it for god knows what reason, he's just an idiot.

best places for the team would be carson(home depot center area), anaheim(best choice), or at worst in irwindale

Exactly how far of a drive from L.A. to Anaheim? I have no idea how close these places are to the city.

Blach. An hour? I'm 3/4s of the way to Louisville from Indy in an hour.

los angeles is a different world. people regularly have 2-4hour commutes a day here.

it takes less than 2 hours to go to most major front range cities in colorado yet people seem like its a scary proposition that i may do that when i goto colorado. its the norm here.

if i want to goto a dodger game its 45min to an hour. lakers and kings are in downtown la. thats even worse than the dodgers because you cant drive around downtown to get there. either way, there are more than enough sports fans here to support the teams, we're just spread out all over hell.

For that matter, since when does Terez watch American Football?

Favre is going to play for the Saints, and take them to their first super bowl ever (his home town is about 30 minutes out of New Orleans, and that's the sort of glory that would make it worth coming back....of course, could be setting himself up for epic fail, but just saying...)

Favre + Saints = horrible, career ending highlight reel injury.

Ha! Packers GM goes to announce a donation to a children's charity, ends up getting grillled about Favre during the press conference...by the kids!

He's younger (29). He's thrown for 4,400+ yds the past two seasons. He's more patient, accurate and quicker.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Brees will ever be as much of a legend as Favre; and I'm sure he won't approach the records Favre has set...he probably won't even sniff the Hall of Fame.

But if I had to field a football team this year, I'd rather have Brees behind center than Favre.

It's right next to his pictures of Reggie Bush and John McCain...he uses those for his special private time :p

I think it's time for Favre to say what he wants to do, this is starting to get annoying on all sides.
