Night Agent season 2. More of the same cheesy popcorn spy stuff. Easy to watch.

Started White Lotus season 3. Really enjoyed Season 2, plus Walt Goggins. Lets go.

Finishing up The Pacific, then im going to start diggin in to Ken Burns Documentaries. Started with the two my local library had in stock. The Civil War and The Vietnam War.

Apparently ive hit a new middle aged area where i fucking love historical documentaries.

Severance Season 2 picks up where 1 left off. It's so good. So strange but so good.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Watching this, enjoying but it feels as tho they're spending too much time setting up the characters and not enough moving them fwd. Most of what we needed to know we got in the first ep.
Still fun tho, and the narrative trick of showing the end point at the beginning to leave us wondering how we get there is well used here.

FRASIER reboot/sequel on Paramount+ Season 1 was good, but stuggled a little bit to be it's own thing or nail what made FRASIER so good, but Season 2 they've figured it out and every episode is great and hilarious. Well worth the watch.

The sequel series CITADEL: DIANA, goes for a more complex plot, to mixed results so far 4 eps in. Fun, drags at times, tries a little too hard to be clever and doesn't pull it off but the action is well done and the cast try really hard to sell it and mostly succeed.

Semi sticks the landing. Tries a little too hard to give the main characters emotional story beats at the expense of the wider cast and plot, but was mostly entertaining most of the time. It does build rather cleverly on events in CITADEL without directly tying in, even if some of it feels gratuitous. I suspect we'll watch the next one, CITADEL: HUNNY BUNNY eventually, if only because after linked American and Italian series I cannot not try the Indian take.

Next up, REACHER S3 and/or YELLOWSTONE 1923 S2. Both are rolling out weekly so with WHITE LOTUS S3 we find ourselves watching weekly eps vs marathoning.... i'm not loving it to be honest.

Finally watched all of S1 ep1 of ARCANE, very enjoyed, feels like i need to watch a few eps at a sitting and get into it. Ladybyss isn't a cartoon fan so i'll have to make some time for it.

The deliberate 3ep story arcs make it work well in 2.5 hour chunks. So that's probably the best bet, especially in S2.

Re-watching BLADE RUNNER: BLACK LOTUS....and again aside from some hinky moments of animation, it's really enjoyable and gets me amped for BR2099. Elle is a great character exploring who she is and where she belongs.
