I said so upthread! It's SO much better than a show based on a video game has any right to be. Really hoping for a season 2.

Think they are already actually working on season 2 :D

I wrapped up Arcane last night. It's not just "good for an animated show". It's "good for any show". and the animatiom is incredible.

Totally agree its one of the better shows of recent years for me. Pretty much what a lot of action/fantasy/sf shows wants to be but very few gets even close to. So much detail in the background and subtext that its one of few series I'll rewatch probably over the holidays.

Yep. Probably the best animated show I've seen on Netflix.

Man, as a lifelong and devout Peanuts fan, this is so exciting!

I'll be real honest and say that the ONLY reason I'm hanging on to Apple+ right now is THE SNOOPY SHOW, and SNOOPY IN SPACE and now this new special. Far and away the best content the service has offered because I can enjoy it, and my son LOVES Snoopy in Space too.

Made the mistake of checking in on what has been going on in The Walking Dead shows. The Fear the Walking Dead show in particular seems to have degraded to levels of terrible heretofore unparalleled. It is bad. very bad... like wearing fallout gear after nuclear bombs went off and navigating the new zombie/nuclear apocalypse bad. Except there are times you don't need the gear because the wind is blowing the other way and there is a tower where you can find safety and haven from it because it miraculously isn't affected by the radiation. Oh and to emphasize this dangerous new nuclear fallout world, we'll incorporate this corny, terrible written effect where we have extended scenes from the close-up perspective of looking at the actors eyes through their protection masks.

Here's the kicker though - they're bringing back Madison. Posted Image

Came here to see who'd been watching this. Its insanely good. Animation is amazing, I would love to see Malaz treated like this.

Cowboy Bebop has been cancelled. I've been enjoying it, it's been a good conversion, with one exception - the whole Vicious character and story is so dated and now cliche and cheesey that it's sunk the show. They should have ignored him and Julia, and stuck with a 'bounty of the week' storylines.

Was good to see the locations and ships in rl though. I'll treat the series like the movie, just more Bebop to watch when I want to.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

What is dated about the Vicious story line?

Man, the prevailing trend with 1/2 hr. comedy series seems to be ending the season on a cliffhanger. First WWDITS, now Tacoma FD.

This season of Tacoma FD had many memorable moments of zany high-jinks, but damn, that last episode of the season. Things are up in the air. What will happen? duh-duh-duuuuuuhn!

Watching Titans season 3. Not too bad so far with the Red Hood business, etc etc etc.

I did notice a blast from the past with a bit from a song by The Mission - "Deliverance" - playing in the background about 6:50 into ep 5.
Man, that has to be from over 30 years ago! WTF was it doing in this sort of show? The things you pick up on.

I thought it had a decent start and middle but a poor end. Something happens in the final eps which comes out of nowhere and spoilt it for me. I'd still watch it though.

I've just binged the latest seasons of Succession and Billions. Billions is great but Succession is so damn good, I love that show. Probably those two shows and Yellowstone are my favourite shows currently.

I've got Wheel of Time to binge too over Christmas but waiting for the final ep to drop.

Anyone watching 1883? I've never seen the show Yellowstone; it's supposed to be the prequel to that. Based on what I've read, it sounds sorta like a show that brings the Oregon Trail thing/deal to the tv screen. It has Sam Elliot. I think I'm going to check it out.
