Is reading the UMBRELLA ACADEMY graphics going to improve or ruin the show for me, or have no effect whatsoever?

Pen15 on Hulu is absolutely wonderful. I thought it was gonna be way wackier a la Strangers With Candy, but it plays everything earnest but exaggerated. Somewhere in between Big Mouth and Freaks & Geeks, so it's almost unbearably honest at points.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Finished up The Last Kingdom. Season 1 took a while to find its feet. Season 2 started slow but ended fantastic. Season 3 was still solid, but I feel like it could have been more.
Looking forward to season 4.

Just finished Season 1 of Justified. Really enjoying it so far. But Timothy Olyphant is awesome so, not surprised.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Justified is a very good show. Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder is fantastic, as well. If you like it so far, you're in for a treat as it goes on.

Season 5 of one of the funniest shows on TV, Brooklyn 99 is coming to UK Netflix in a week or so and we're watching through seasons 1-4 now. Still hilarious. Still actually pretty thought provoking at times, dealing with some serious issues...

Michael Schur and Dan Goor are amazing.

Where's BK, DRAGON PRINCE Season 2 is up on Netflix!

Only watched one episode so far, but it opens with Amara battling some sort of fire elf and it's a badass scene! Also, true to their word, the animation got a budget boost this season. Still has that cell-shaded look, but its MUCH more polished now.

Dragon Prince offers up another solid season, it really expands out on the world lore, I pretty much binged it in one sitting. Really enjoyed it.

Got the final episode of Titans to watch tonight, I had to drag myself away from it last night. Much better than I thought it was going to be, I got bored of all the other DC superhero shows and stopped watching them but this is top notch TV.

I'll have to check out The Dragon Prince season 2. I liked season 1 so much that I started watching Avatar. I think I'm about 1/3 of the way through.

Heh you did well pulling yourself away when you did, it was a damn fine ep and worth the wait.

Some of the action was brutal...

Great end to a great season and the way it ended... more please...

It made me want to do that too, think it's hearing Sokka's voice sound the exact same in both shows ha, that took me some getting used to as it's such a distinct sounding voice.

Okay, now fully half way through THE DRAGON PRINCE season 2 and it's fucking phenomenal. Man, anyone who is a fantasy fan (or an Airbender/Korra/Voltron fan) needs to get on this show. This season is SOOOOOOOO binge-worthy, and SOOOOOOO gorgeously animated, scripted, and acted, and scored. Just a fantastic animated epic.

Yeah, since he loved season 1 earlier, I switched it on for the boy last weekend and he binged season 2 in one sitting. That's both really good (given his goldfish-like concentration elsewise) and really bad (me as a parent) for a 6 year old.

Ah well, could be worse. He could have an iphone like some of his classmates. (Hell NO!)

Side convo about kids and devices: We just went away to the Caribbean with family, and my 10-year old nephew didn't want to swim, or go water sliding or DO anything, and just kept begging his parents to go back to the room and play on his iPad. For 8 straight days he bitched about not being home playing Fortnite. Which is the only thing he ever wants to do. It's...an addiction.

Only problem each season is way too short.

Did we have a Magicians thread somewhere? I can't find it.

Just watched S04E04 — the quickening episode. The actress who plays Margot knocks it out of the park in this one. I've been thinking it for 2 seasons so far, and this episode just confirmed it: she's the most talented of the core cast.

It was nice to see Margo let her guard down. Not that I don't appreciate her creative phrasing; but when that's all she does, it gets a little stale.
