Dang, on top of Mean Gene, now Bob Einstein -- aka Super Dave / Marty Funkhouser -- passed away.

And then the "Captain" from the Captain and Tennille.

Just checking in to let anyone who doesn't watch Luther that the latest series IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BRILLIANT and you should catch up as soon as possible. Historically it's quite an inconsistent show but at its best it's great and this season of four episodes has been great from start to finish. Hannibal-season-2-finale levels of television.

I did watch it! It's insane. The costumes are so elaborate and pretty cool, so it reminds me of Japanese game shows in that regard.

My favorite part about it though, aside from the costumes, is all the C-lister judges like Jenny McCarthy and the lady from the Pussycat Dolls guessing that A-listers like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are gonna show up -- potentially all season -- to compete on their karaoke show. (There actually were a couple really good singers though.)
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Huh, well slap my ass and call me Sally and dip me in honey dew brine. I just noticed HBO is playing a season a day of The Sopranos (currently on season 3). I've never watched The Sopranos. Should I check it out? Yes? No? Meh?

I made it through season 3. It was ok. I have no idea why its considered great, other than it is a clever spin on the typical mob boss story.

I watched the final episode (only one I've ever seen), because all of the hype surrounding it. Didn't understand it and did not know what was going on (obviously). Was mildly amused by all the (either the outright hate or 'genius' tag) that was being heaped on the episode. None of what transpired in the final episode hooked me such that I wanted to start watching from the beginning. But with HBO airing the complete series, I was just wondering if it is worth spending my time.

As an avid watcher of THE GOOD PLACE, this made me laugh so hard when we caught it. AMAZING. Probably the best moment of the pre-show, if not the show proper.

I tried a few times, but SOPRANOS never held my interest.
It was well done for what it was, and i understand the widespread appeal, but lacked enough originality to get me to commit.

LOVE The Sopranos in our house. Couldn't recommend it more highly. I categorise it alongside Mad Men - a slow burner character piece. And also contributed greatly to my red wine, pasta and bread consumption. How to get to look like James Gandolfini in 6 easy seasons.

6.5 is indeed my favorite season, but the whole show is great. Agree with Mezla.

I'm really enjoying Homecoming on Amazon Prime. But then, I loved Mr. Robot, so I might just like the style of the director.

I wondered if anyone else was watching/had watched this show. My wife and I watched it last weekend and were really impressed by it. I had a moderate quibble with a single plot point but that was it. Intense is the exact word that first came to my mind. And the intensity remains to the very end. Highly recommend it.

Just finished, what an amazing finale. Really tense and gripping. Wonder if they'll do another series?

Watched the first three eps of DC’s TITANS (netflix), and I had SOOOOOO written this show off as garbage after seeing the trailers...but I’m happy to eat a lot of crow.

It’s excellent! Like I’m Really impressed. It’s definitely not TEEN Titans mind you....much more like Daredevil in tone...but well written, acted, soundtracked ect.

Solid, solid stuff.
