Nice season finale.

That was a pretty damn awesome finale. I so hope it gets renewed for season 5!
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Star Trek Voyager. 1st time watching.

I'm on S2 ep 8. I believe the ship wound up in Delta Quad. I forget the Quad the worm hole in DS9 went to...Gamma maybe?? Anyway I'm wondering about Nelix. He is the local guide. Timeline wise they have been traveling for about 8 mths now. I'm wondering when the show will get to the point when he says he knows nothing about that part of space. I would think this will be brought up sometimes in S2?

I've seen voyager quite a few times and honestly, I can't remember when that happens. Though I think it's a bit later than S3.

Ok, can someone tell me if GOTHAM is actually any good? I don't really want to wade into the dedicated thread for fear of spoilers (if it is indeed a show that has major spoilers).

Don't.

Just Don't do it to yourself.

Poor acting, poor stories, poor direction. Does it have a few good minutes, sure. Does it have 10 bad for every good. Certainly

I loved VOYAGER (second fave Trek after TNG)...even though lots of people hated it....there was something about it that really resonated with me. Season 3 and 4 are the best....and in 4 is a phenomenal two-part episode called YEAR OF HELL which was worth all my money. I honestly can't recall if Nelix's knowledge ever wavers completely...probably a few times...but his people seem to know a lot about the Delta Q...

Jada did get less cheesy as time went by by a small degree. I'd say watch Gotham just for the Penguin and Nigma(Riddler) bits.

So I've just seen Forever S1 finale. I swear to the Higher Beings in the universe if this doesn't get S2 I will bring Holy Fire to the ABC office. That ending is killing me.

Oh man! Just finished watching "The Life and Times of Briar King" aka True Detective. What a freaking amazing show! Got to say it hasn't inspired me to visit Louisiana though...

Has anybody seen the TV show Rita? It's a Danish show on Netflix about an off-the-rails private school teacher and her family. I think I've just found my new addiction.

Voyager S3 ep 7. I've only really not been bored with 2 episodes so far in S3. It's been lame.

Just did a quick look ahead for the rest of the episodes in season 3 and there's not a lot of great stuff there to be honest. But a few are gems. Funnily enough, there is a time-travelly 2-parter up next which i always enjoyed (with an interesting guest star).

And later there is a good episode about a reptilian race which I also enjoyed (Distant Origin). There is a Kes-centric episode somewhere in the season which is pretty good, and the season finale does set things up well for a more interesting season 4.

But I'd say you'll be fast forwarding several of the episodes in the remainder of season 3.

Still, the good episodes of voyager are great fun.

EDIT: just had a look at the list of episodes in Season 4. That's a pretty damn good run of episodes coming up. Season 3 really does look shit in comparison. If you've enjoyed the show at all to this point though, you'll really enjoy the next season (and there are a few great eps for you left in season 3). Enjoy.

So, the miniseries for Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is set to begin airing this weekend on Sunday! Fuck yeah!

And apparently, it's damn good, according to this review. :headbang:

That's kinda cool. Didn't even know they commissioned one.

Anyway, just wanted to say the last couple Mad Men episodes have been fantastic, and appropriately exhilarating and devastating in equal measure. And I still have no idea how it's going to end, which is a pleasure.

@ BK - No you're safe. There is at least one more episode with Q in it somewhere down the track (maybe more, but i can't be certain).

Looking at the remaining eps for the season, I think the next few are not great until you get to ep 17, then its on to ep 21, and the final run of 23-26 are all good.

For the other eps, i'd say you'll be ready with the fastforward button. If I'm right, you're next episode is ep 12 about a virus (which is all kinds of shite as Star Trek episodes go).

As for my tv watching, just saw the finale of this season of ARROw, and it was pretty underwhelming. I think they've really made a shit of Felicity Smoak's character, as she's constantly pining for Oliver (or Ray Palmer) and has nothing of the naive charm that she had early on in the show. Sure the naivety could be gone, but she should still have the charm. And I'm still struggling badly watching the actress trying to play Black Canary (or Laurel Lance for that matter). Frankly, they were all a bit too emo for the last 5-6 episodes to be honest.

And after the Holy Shitballs excitement of the DC: Legends trailer, it was all a bit...... meh.

Saw JONATHAN STRANGE & MR NORRELL on BBC last night. It was pretty good. I don't remember much of the book and I'm not even sure I ever finished it. But I'm definitely going to catch the next episode.

How many episodes are they planning? It's a pretty long book.
