Totally fair points.

I wasn't interested in the show at all when I heard it was being done...but I think I'll give it a chance.

I ain't writing it off completely... t it doesn't look my cup of tea and I'm just disappointed they didn't take the chance to make something more Gotham Central or summat.

ARROW was just such a welcome surprise and even managed to deliver in its second season, thus despite my near complete lack of interest in GOTHAM, i have to at least give it a looksee.

Amph, SURVIVING JACK was cancelled.

Damnit.

That show had a writing staff that had a real feel for its characters and for the touch of pure '90s goodness and whimsy that made things truly funny. Stellar casting too. I expect to see all of the youngsters finding other work quickly.

Hopefully the stuff that aired will end up on Netflix. I'll give it a look anyways.

Enlisted too. Really good show. It wasn't as good as the Tuesday night block, necessarily, but it still would have made a great oddball workplace pairing with B99. And FOX (quite typically) screwed up its scheduling and its airdate vs production order, reminiscent of what they did to Undeclared (and of course, Firefly).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

And ALMOST HUMAN.

I think the only reason they didn't screw with the airing order of SLEEPY HOLLOW was cause it would have made less sense out of order. And I'm kind of glad of that episodic storytelling, otherwise FOX might have gotten their greedy paws into that as well.

Apparently, the CW made a few decisions and have cancelled The Tomorrow People (Was ok, nothing more), and Star Crossed (never seen it, so don't care).

But, thankfully they have NOT picked up the order for the SUPERNATURAL spinoff, Supernatural:Bloodlines. They did a backdoor pilot last week in an ep of Supernatural, and it was appalling. So at least there was some sense there.

But in good news, they appear to have picked up The FLASH, which had a backdoor pilot a few weeks ago in ARROW. THe guy they put in the lead role, is very likeable, which is a major plus point for a character like the Flash. I do hope they have it being as dark as ARROW, but I doubt it. As long as they don't try and make it a borderline comedy, I have reasonably high hopes for it (based on the execution of ARROW thus far).

The only problem with Rome S2 is that the original Octavian is so good that the aged up version just can't compete. I need to watch that again too.

Indeed. I mean I love that they time jump, becase the next big event after Julius' assasination is defo Octavian grown up and on campaign...but yeah, the original was awesome. Still the adult version was good, just not AS good. I really wish ROME had kept going...as I'd love to have seen some of the latter emperors, Caligula, Hadrian, ect.

I can see what people meant about S9 of The Office. It's mostly lame. There are a few laugh moments but I don't enjoy it like I used to. Gonna watch it to the end though, as I need to know what happens!

Sorry for the triple post, but I just finished watching. The final four episodes (or rather final 2 double episodes) were actually pretty good. Yes, the show dipped and could have perhaps been at least a season shorter but it finished well. It was a bit sentimental and cheesy but I enjoyed it and am glad I stuck with it to the end. Overall, a flipping good show!

It would never have gotten that far. I think they planned 5 seasons with the last one being Timon (who we see leave at the end of season 2) being in Jerusalem with christ. It was very much the end of the Republic they were dealing with.

Also I read an interview with James Purefoy saying how GOT stole their show.

Haha. Rome S2 Ep2 when Cleopatra and Pullo run into each other in passing on her visit to Rome. That was funny and I completely forgot about that scene!

I saw that. Honestly? He had me at "Bollocks."

I didn't expect it to look that slick. I'm down.

Is it wrong to KIND of want to see a Sandman cameo at some point?

Essential viewing this week folks, so set your DVRs. Jeopardy! Battle of the Decades will see one champion rise above the 80s, 90s, and the 00s at the end of the week.

I wonder if the placements are random. There's no way they're gonna let Brad and Ken face off before the finals! But like I said above, Pam's still my boo no matter what. Also I forgot how good Chuck and Leszek are, they are definitely dark horses. Lastly I'd like to say I never thought I'd see Roger Craig as shook as he was last week. Usually he's cold as ice, but you could almost see the flop sweat.

Is Brad the guy who has the single day earnings total? I'm for Pam too. I'm a sucker for smart, hot women. Posted Image

Not sure about single day, but he's the top all-time total money winner and has beaten Ken in a tournament before.

Ah, that's it. I remember Alex Trebek mentioning the accomplishment last week, but I couldn't remember if it was one day earnings or all time money winner. I should have google'd it. Thanks! It should be a fun week!
