Wife has watched almost all of it and she quite enjoys it, and I catch the odd episode now and again and I enjoy it enough. I'll probably go back at some point and watch the whole thing on my own now too.

JUPITER'S LEGACY: I have the comic, but less for Millar than for Quitely's art...the story was meh at best. The tv show amped up the hokeyness, and it was not for us.
I watched all of Jupiter's Legacy and was left with a feeling of not knowing if the show was bad, or that I just did not like it.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Finished the last and final season of Baskets. Great show for you guys looking for something out of the ordinary. It ended really sweet and hopeful, with a little dash of melancholy. Got a bit of the case of the sobs when the final scene ended, not gonna lie.
Dale really stole the scenes he appeared in - "You boys circumcised, or you got them hippy wieners?"
But Louie Anderson as Christine Baskets is the role that holds the show together through all four seasons. Such an iconic performance.

I'm watching the animated Invincible TV-show on Amazon Prime.
I've never read the comic but the show seems good. Not sure how close the adaption is to the comic but it's got an interesting style. It seems part meta commentary on superheroes told in a light humorous style but also horrifically, violently brutal and bloody.

The comics have advanced all the way to the end of the story.
I can tell you if you want but it is beyond spoileriffic for the floppies and will likely spoil elements of the show even if they go a different route w the story.

Watched the first few episodes of show titled Cruel Summer.
eh, not all that great, but there's something cheesy and corny enough about it that I sorta want to continue on.
The setting is it takes place over the summers of 1993/1994/1995.
This is what I've been following so far.
It's really corny guys, but I want to see how it ends.

The setting is it takes place over the summers of 1993/1994/1995.
This is what I've been following so far.
1993 - Nerdy, socially awkward girl and her social outcast friends kick off the summer. Have fun list of things to do. Run into hot, popular girl at mall. Nerdy girl has that look like she wants her life.
1994 - By the next summer, hot, popular girl goes missing. Nerdy girl transforms herself into hot, popular girl and is now dating missing hot, girl's boyfriend. She also ditches her previous nerdy, outcast friends.
1995 - Missing hot, popular girl appears. Reveals she was kidnapped and held in an empty room in a house by the school's assistant principle. She says nerdy girl knew shew was locked in there the whole time. Reveals, without details, that unmentionable, terrible things were done to her. Assistant principle is shot and killed. Now nerdy (new hot) girl and original hot girl are all depressed and look goth and doing drugs, self cutting and are the poster child for troubled teenagers AND one is suing the other for libel/defamation of character.
It's really corny guys, but I want to see how it ends.

No, no. Merely speculating on the show.

Castlevania Season 4, Ep 7, about the 16 minute mark: did Belmont just come out with a Blindsight vampire reference?

I have not watched, but I've heard it's good despite being strange. I'm glad Whedon stepped away from it though, his name attached to it was only going to cause issues.

I stopped watching most TV and all movies a few months into the pandemic. After Trump's defeat I stopped completely, except during the Capitol insurrection.
Since I might start interacting with people in person again in a month or two, I started up again yesterday. Bingeing is better for absorbing body language and conversational skills, though half an hour sober is enough for desensitization. Started with one episode of season 2 of The Boys. A lot of Huey's lines seem off, though I imagine they'd actually be good in written form---not sure whether the problem is more the actor's delivery or getting the lines to simultaneously sound good and match the TV show's variation on the character. To a lesser extent the same goes for the Deep. Most of the other actors are good though. Plot isn't as compelling as season 1's yet.
Obviously Homelander is teaching me wonderful social skills. For America, at least....

FRIENDS Reunion trailer. While I wish it was a scripted episode and Corden's involvement as host drops it down some pegs for me...I'll still be checking this out since I'm a pretty diehard FRIENDS fan.

Finished up the most recent season of Better Call Saul. Those last 3 episodes though, holy crap. I would put the season up there with any of the Breaking Bad seasons, it was that good. That Rhea Seehorn hasn't won an Emmy for her role as Kim Wexler is a travesty.
[EDIT] Need to add that the way the season ends, if you aren't pumped for the final season, then you and I aren't of the same ilk.
