This thread is where you post your jubilation over recieving the book and mock all the losers who are still suffering.

This is so that we don't have 117 threads stating the obvious.

And just to let you know, I don't have the book yet... and I hate you all :GA:

my hands are clean, but I still have my copy, I've only mentioned it 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 times today!!

luckily I'm a slow reader, (only really get time on my commute) so at 50mins a day it'll take me a while to get through the 924 pages (oh no I just read the last page when I was trying to find out how many pages there were!! SPOILER Rand Al Thor dies!! SPOILER) so I'm unlikely to spoil it for everyone ;-)

I got the email from Amazon UK this morning as well...estimating a June 25 arrival here in sunny Cleveland, OH.

When I went to the UPS site, however, the message said: Your package has experienced an exception.

The details down below say UPS INTERNAL ACTIVITY CODE at 8:00am in CUMBERNAULD, GB.

Any thoughts as to what the exception may be?

Someone figured out what it was and stole it, is my guess.

they are even worse than first thought. i rang up to find out what was going on when they tried to pick the package up with no forewarning and the guy somehow cancelled the collection??

so i rang the depot and they told me it hadnt been cancelled and they would pick it up so they asked when i would be available i told them after lunch,so i take sme half day and go home to find they had been at the house before the postman who turns up at ten. so i went out to golf and arranged to work from home the next day.

get home after gold and the guy had turned up again despite the fact ups dont try twice in one day!!

next day i get a phone call at ten past eight in the morning askign will i actually be there and i of course say yes, yes i will. So the woman says the driver will call in shortly. HALF FOUR he turns up, half four!!!

and guess what - he doesnt have my labels ro prepaid box and just looks at me like its my fault. I am now awaiting trial for manslaughter... thanks a lot ups.

from another forum i post on, my ups rant

I was going to make a thread like this, called The Official 'I Got My Hands On TTH Before Abyss' Thread, but that might have been mean. Anyway, I'm off into town to see if they've got it now. This is when having a drinking buddy who works there comes in handy.

EDIT: Or I would be off to town, except my shower is broken. I'd rather not beg books earlier from staff members when I'm not exactly fresh.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
