I relied on the brits to get this book to me in good time, thinking that the history of the British Empire would, if nothing else, at least manage to pull this

I can't decide whether to be relieved or dismayed. Certainly, legendary hun effciency should lead to my hb of TtH arriving in pristine condition precisely on July 3 2008.

On the other hand, harsh experience with TB, RG and other items (see: http://www.malazanempire.com/forums/showth...ght=canada+post ) have taught me to expect the worse. Perhaps i'll have to chase the courier (again - see RG) around the city because my signature is three molecules off from the line or something...

As a precautionary measure, i'm stocking up on shnitzel and beer...

Unfortunately, my master plan of reading all the other books before it's arrival in order to be completely in the know with all that's going on has ground to an almost complete halt because of real life. I'm about 70 pages from finishing Deadhouse Gates, that's all I've managed to get up to since the beginning of May. Disaster.
